It is pretty evident that many of the active users don't have LL....
As I said before, this was the risk of making a LL park this stage in the competition.
I agree with 5dave. Even if you cannot view the Reservoir Dogs park I think it would be nice to at least provide an analysis for The Replacements. I especially believe if you are going to vote, you should justify your decision and not just make a little 5 word blurb. Considering this is the semis I would have expected to see more comments, even if these parks didn't meet your expectations.
Yeah, not many have LL, but 34 votes in the 5th round are nearly three times more votes then in this matchup... That´s poor, imo
Yes. Everybody sucks, nobody appreciates anything anymore, things with this H2H should be better, you must post super huge elaborate reviews to be worthy of putting your foot into this topic.
Can you guys cut the crap please? It's majorly annoying to read nothing but complaints.
Kumba, thanks for the heads-up. You're actually quite right.
I'd love to vote, but same here, i don't have LL.
I followed the h2h from the start, with interest.
I don't review much ,but that's mainly because i don't know that much yet about everything that comes with rct LL or rct 2 ,i can only say what i like or dislike.
I agree with you and feel bad that there isn't that much interest in the h2h lately, it's a shame.
Really beautiful park. Sadly some unfinished spots. But the atmosphere and colourfulness totally made up for that. I really enjoyed all the inventive details all over the park.
The Dogs' park dind't really pull me in. It felt a bit rushed. The general idea was brilliant though, because I really enjoy these cheesy sci-fi plots, though I don't know any of the books/series whatever you referenced.
Well, I for one am sick of all the negativity going on here. It's the semifinals, and while neither parks are game breaking, let's show some love. I'm gonna do positive reviews from here on out, and explain my vote at the end.
Reservoir Dogs - Things I loved about Pebbles in the Sky +While it does have a lot of codex and other hacking, it has some atmosphere that oldschool LL parks had +Cool entrance +The Queue placement of Sol +HG Wells Trans Planet Express interaction throughout the park +Quantum Leap - fun layout +Hacked paths +Scotty's Teleport Center - awesome hack! +Dune worms were awesome +Martian Waterworks - cool rapids ride +Pressure Gauge - neat idea +Abduction Experience +Total Recall - SICK idea, SICK execution
The Replacements - Things I loved about Neverland +Right off the bat - AWESOME architecture throughout the park +Supports for Big Chief +Rainbow and Mermaids - Awesome! +Hook's alligator - Soooo sick! +Tink's Magical Flight - Station, supports, layout +Buildings under Hook +Tiger Lily's Rescue - Awesome interaction +Colorful park +Bridge +Big Ben
I voted for the Pebbles in the Sky because I enjoyed the hacks (they added to the idea of the park) and I LOVED Total Recall! Both parks had great things in them. Neverland had brilliant architecture, but it just felt like something was missing. I'd say Neverland gets an 80/100 and Pebbles in the Sky gets 81/100
Well done to all the builders! We appreciate what you've done here!
I can't vote because of LL, but I loved Neverland!
The rides were fantastic. All 4 coaster layouts were perfect for a park of this size and theme, 2 dark rides seemed like a good amount, the rapids was long and believable, and there were plenty of supporting rides. The queues were also all great and believable which is something I always look for in parks like this
What really made this special in my opinion were all the sculptures tho. The gator, skull, big tree, mushrooms, mermaids were all amazing. And that centerpiece is absolutely perfect...it could have possibly used some sort of ride inside of it or an interactive tree house going around it, but other than that I loved this park
Maybe Neverland wasn't groundbreaking in terms of ideas or style, but I loved the architecture and general atmosphere. I just loved how vibrant everything in the park was and there were so many nice ideas. Congrats to the builders of this, definitely one of my favorites of the contest.
Very strange decision by the RD's imo, reminds me a bit of Milo and Micool's LL park from H2H5 which, though brilliant, didn't fair well in voting either. Would not take much studying of H2H history to see that a similar fate might befall a park of this style. Can't view it in game but certainly looks interesting, wish I could see the shoestring running.
The longer that I looked at Pebbles in the Sky, the more captivated I was with it. Many of the references may have been lost on me but I still found the park interesting and enjoyable.
I really enjoyed Pebbles in the Sky for the ideas behind it, and I found a lot of little things that stood out to me as well done or well thought out. At the same time, it's hard for me to get in to it as a whole.
Neverland, on the other hand, pulled me in. From tower bridge to the ship to the Neverland sign to the architecture throughout, I just loved it. Although that giant tree was kinda eh.
Though disappointing because of the previous work of both teams (been looking back over the past few days) I have to say that the Neverland theme was very good... with some faults. Mostly the Native Tribe (Indian) themed area. It just lacked what I was looking for. I loved the London area, especially Big Ben and the bridge.
Overall: tacky, unrefined, and lovely.
Now, Pebbles... It just stuck in my mind as a huge mess. Though there were some great ideas (like the loops around the launch track) I thought that the overall composition wasn't pleasing. But that's just me.
Again, disappointing, but good submissions none-the-less.
we're just never going to be able to pull a vote from you, are we Wanted?
I voted Sea of Sagas!
Tivoli & Fantasyland were fucking great! But they went against the two best parks the other teams created. Kim Jong Il was incomplete and I just wasn't the biggest fan of Worlds of Fun. Neverland is really good, Pebbles in the Sky just scratches the right part of my back.
hahaha no hard feelings man, your team has created great parks!
Well........fuck. I guess we'd better get busy building something for the 3rd place match.
When we got to 4-3 I was pretty happy, but a 10 point deficit this late....considering the lack of votes flying in....has me all but conceding here. We gave it one hell of an effort considering the circumstances....and we can at least walk away from this knowing that we finished the RR in 1st place.
And, we went 3:06 on HK.
Guess everyone will have to wait to see what Cena and I had going for the final. But, I promise that you will. And...I promise that no one will be disappointed.
Nice to see you actually conceding gracefully Kong, I was expecting a shit storm in all honesty. Can't wait to see what you had planned for the finals.
Your best park in the RR versus our worst park in the RR. Don't be so proud. and you finished the RR TIED for 1st place with us.
As for neverland: I can't seem to open it. I got an error: "this file is part of a multi-volume blah blah, please open all the files blah blah blah." or something like that. I redownloaded it and will try again tonight. Edit: Opened the zip on my work computer, and first thing's first: whoever drew that concept map is fucking talented. WOW is all I have to say. Is that someone on the team or is it from somewhere else????

But that's all I'll complain, I agree with posix, no matter how much we talk about it, this is just how it is. That's life

Neverland's coasters were just awesome. Loved each layout and the details of the areas. Great work, although I do appriciate the LL work.
Great matchhup, may the best park win.
