When have they bitched about the quality of the parks?
He stated that he thought that this was the worst matchup of H2H6, which I would say is as close to fact as an opinion can be. He didn't actually say that the parks are bad.
No offence intended by that, but an unfinished park that had some nice ideas but lacked the execution against a wtf park which honestly looks like it was made in the 3 days extension...
Week 5 is normally when you see bad match-ups. It's even more likely from good teams. Most teams wont send out a star player late in the season and rather have them working on a post-season park. When you know you have a playoff spot locked up motivation is hard to come by.
Also it's true that in the past seasons were 10 weeks. Each team played 7 matches, 4 vs two teams in their division and 3 vs each team in the other division. Each team got 3 bye weeks to rest up. That was in the days when people were a lot more active.
To be fair, a number of people have said how disappointed they were with these parks, in this very topic.
I can understand the reasoning, as both teams have put forth four quality parks up to this point, hence 3-1 for each team. Hence these parks will be a little disappointing when judged against the record so far.
But that is still someone's hard work you're completely slating. Someone has still opened up the game and made these parks, for you to enjoy. How about trying to find some positives in both parks?
Hell, try to find positives in all the parks from H2H, go and post about them. As the season has gone on, there haven't been nearly enough posts reviewing the parks. Or votes, for that matter. 80 votes in the first week, and barely 30 in week 5.
It just seems that if the park isn't the best thing to have yet been built in RCT, blowing everyone's minds, then it is "sloppy" or "disappointing". I'm all for the pursuit of quality, but where's the appreciation?
I don't get how this was the worst matchup. At least both parks were kind of finished.
I think H2H was great and has already shown us incredible work, even from players who sort of surprised us with upping their game.
Turtle is more than right here. After week one it only went downhill, I hope that activity will rise for the finals to at least the extent that it was on in round 1 actually. I don't get why people all of the sudden think there's no need to comment on the parks.
For my reviews (short ones but like Kumba even (sorta) affirmed the quality isn't to the teams full capabilities):
Hurricanes:
I actually really liked this. It's a shame that it wasn't finished as it could've been quite the park had it been finished. I liked the execution of your concept and how you've added all the players. The germans and Louis! gave me quite a laugh ;p
for HK:
I don't get it. Can someone please explain what this is and what the idea behind this is. I feel again that I'm missing something..

Doesn't really matter does it? All it decides is who has a #2 next to their name when you match up again next week.

After this there will be Semi finals and the finals!
