    Mine took about 4 months. Just be patient.
    Aside from the fact that I didn't really care, it seemed to come pretty fast.

    I don't mind if I ever get points, but they do seem like a confidence booster and I would like if I got them, but it's nothing I'll wait on.

    Stuff gets pushed off the front page rapidly these days, it seems, so the points are a nice gauge of someone's history when just glancing at their name on the forums. I'm not super excited about getting the points because I know it's not going to move me a whole lot, but it might at least draw more attention to the "Accolades" part of the post, which in turn might get more people to see my work... and that's kind of the point.
