But something that I have noticed that bothers me- It feels like the Reservoir Dogs have been recycling many of their past individual concepts in their H2H parks as opposed to coming up with fresh ideas...
Correct me if I am wrong, but didn't K0NG already have a Frankenstein design that was never finished? Didn't Cena put the same exact Ratatouille mural in one of his versions of Disneyland? Hasn't he also attempted an Atlantis recreation before?
I mean all of their parks have been good, but have recycled ideas in 3 out of 4 rounds seems kind of lazy.
Well, that just became one of my favorite parks of all time. God, this season's level of quality is so unbelievably high; what appear to be the best parks just continue to be eclipsed by the later rounds. Great work Dogs.
i don't care for how the most important and anticipated inversion on the flyer comes first. it wasn't a bad layout, but i think it shows just how difficult great flyer layouts are. i have had more problems with flyer layouts than any other.
I'm really not seeing all the love for the Dogs' park. The flyer's layout is above average, to be sure, and some of the hacks are great, but the hotel is just kind of... there, and it dominates the entire map. The custom sea creatures were cool, and the casino was probably my favorite part. Just an overall awkward park in my opinion. I think I may have actually spent a little more time looking at the Replacements' park, and that, to me, is telling of how great it could have been had it been finished. Amusing concept with some awesome details. Some bits were a bit... almost South Parkish, but I feel that was the intent. I sadly can't vote for it on what I think it would have been, though, so I vote the Reservoir Dogs. Dayum shame to see so many unfinished works. Inb4 two unfinished parks in the final winner's bracket.
But not because I thought it was outstanding. I personally just don't think a park based on the North Korean regime is a good idea. But this really is subjective. I just don't think it's entertaining.

Just to clarify this, our park is not necessarily 'based on the North Korean regime' but is instead a theme park that we could expect to find in North Korea, similar to the one that is reasonably well known (Hence the details like the 'One meat two bread' shop, which can be found in the real one)

I have yet to download the parks, so I can;t vote yet. But I agree with inVersed about the Dogs' use of individual concepts. I wouldn't call it lazy or brilliant, but it is a shame that their parks really aren't anything "new" or refreshing. No offense to the Dogs', ya'll are great builders, but part of the game and contest is coming up with new ideas and concepts. As inVersed pointed out, Week 1 park idea was from K0NG's Halloween contest entry at RCTSpace, Week 2 involved Cena re-creating his Remy mural, and now Week 4 concept, I believe was going to be a part of a certain someone's project. Seems like Copper Creek (Week 3) was the only park that wasn't a recycled idea.
I really enjoyed both, regardless of the unfinishedness of the Replacements' park.
There were a ton of cool details around KJIPTHPP(to long, I'll just call it Kim). I loved all the missiles, they were really well done. The murals of Jong-Il around the park were all great, too. I enjoyed all of the coasters, so there's another plus. Of course, it was majorly unfinished, so I can't vote based on what's there, or what was meant to be there.
I really loved the Reservoir Dogs' Atlantis. I'm a huge sucker for water parks, and this one doesn't disappoint. The stonework around the paths and stone deco on the hotel and casino was beautiful. The small buildings by the beach were excellently detailed, a joy for me to explore. The slide structures were great; it's nice to see a RCT version of the famous slide(the Leap of Faith one) in every Atlantis commercial. Shame it wasn't operational. The various wildlife exhibits were incredible; it was fun for me to watch the peeps walking beneath, and wish I was a peep. Poseidon was a great looker, but I'm not so sure on the layout. Honestly, only the ending bothered me, but as this park was even laggier than Pixar, I had trouble seeing what speed the ride would be going without all the lag. As for the 2 tile Hotel window objects, I think they're brilliant. A wonderful idea for a deadline-centered competition.
As Kim was unfinished, and Atlantis was extremely enjoyable for me, I vote the Reservoir Dogs .
Again, if Kim was finished, it might be another story, although Atlantis still might've beaten it for me.

It's in that unfinished corner there. Don't you see it?

Casimir - To be fair, this park is totally something Kim Jong Il would have built....so it's actually fucking hilarious.

Too bad the Replacement's park wasn't finished. It might have changed my vote.
