you guys already have a prejudice before judging LL park.
K0NG Offline
I agree whole-heartedly. I'm not a huge LL fan....mostly because I suck at LL. That being
said, I can still appreciate good LL work. Mostly because I suck at LL and can appreciate
how difficult it is to build something that stands up to an RCT2 park with the limitations
of LL.
Some of you fucks would probably be better RCT2 players if you'd learn to appreciate the whole
evolution of the game and how talented some of the LL players actually are.

It's our chosen path, so we never bagged sympathy vote and never wants to get some advantage because of limitations.
WHAT A SHAME FOR US?
What we want is helped people find a interest in LL through H2H6.

I definitely agree with the second part and appreciate the compliment you've given to some of the LL players around here, though, K0NG. They truly deserve recognition at being among the elite players of RCT in general, regardless of game. The stuff I've seen some of my teammates do is simply magical, and I'd bet many RCT2 players wouldn't be able to come up with the types of things these guys do. I wish people who weren't familiar with LL would at least try it out themselves. I don't think it's a game/style you can't really, truthfully appreciate until you've tried it for yourself.
That said, we definitely don't need pity votes either; the revoLLutionists' goals with H2H6 are to produce great LL and to (ideally) generate a growing interest in the game among other players and, more importantly, to keep the game alive. LLLL.
@Heaven's Kitchen - Very nice park. A bit spotty in a couple places, and I agree that the going through the mouths thing was a bit overdone but some of the ideas and the park concept in general was really good. One of the better parks of the season, I would say.

To the revollutionists park:
Overall this wasn't too shabby. I got quite excited seeing the zoomed out overview. Then when I dug into the park I didn't hate it but I didn't really like the part with the woody and the red roofs. Some of the buildings look quite cool but it felt a bit repetive as well. The part with the green coaster was really awesome and makes me feel bad for not having ll. at first I was like 'meh' but when I dug into it I really loved how you incorporated so many attractions and such in that 'mountain'. It looks really cool and I wish I could investigate it further.

I'm not saying there's a problem with building good LL or anything, but don't use that as an excuse for not winning guys.
On another slightly related note, I think one of the main problems LL faces in the community that yes you have to be creative to come up with these new ideas, but you also have to be heavily imaginative to make them look like what they're supposed to be. Take Cars Land for example, just looking at the 'tyre' things, I would have never guessed that they were tyres, because they're coaster trains and look nothing like tyres. Rct2 is therefore for those with less of an imagination in the sense that they can't necessarily see a certain object as something completely different, but instead like clarity in what they're viewing.

Why should we have to stick to one way just to gain votes? We wanted to try a different style with R2 and we did, and I'm very proud of my team for doing so because I know that I'd get bored seeing park after park from a team in the same style.

Massive step up from your R1 park, in my opinion.

Monstrocity was great. A brilliant park and much better than your R1 park. But I felt that whilst each area was great, they didn't come together as a whole very well. Thats what ruined it for me, the areas were totally different to each other and didn't blend well. I thought the coaster layouts weren't amazing, I did like the Werewolf for the fact it was unique and Godzilla was great for it's interaction. There were some fantastic little details throughout the park and some of the sculptures were incredible, but as I said I just didn't think it came together well, which is a shame, because if it did, it could have been the greatest park of the season so far, whereas at the moment, I'd say this match up is going to be pretty close, or at least, should be pretty close.
The Lost Samurai. What can I say? A great park in my opinion, even if it hasn't gone down immensely well with the community. I think it's going to be a hit or miss park, some people will appreciate it, others wont. I do think that it has some incredibly strong coaster layouts, possibly the strongest that H2H6 has seen so far, especially the flyer which works the landscape brilliantly. I think it was a great mix of classic LL and codex, only really using the latter to take advantage of things like cloning etc. It oozes atmosphere and I think it is an excelent asian theme, something that is highly difficult to portray in LL, and certainly no one has done it better since Kitabasaki Dragonland. Well done guys, I'm really proud of you and the hard work you've put in, especially under the circumstances this was built in.
It's going to be a tough match, hopefully a close match, and hopefully a match we can win again.

@Pierrot: It's not a prejudice to the game, it's just that generally I don't enjoy LL parks, simply because I do not like them. If it'd be pure prejudice, then why did I adore Carsland? I cán really enjoy LL parks. Just not this one. Sorry for having an opinion...

This was almost impossible to vote on but I've decided to give my vote to Lost Samurai.
I love the wall work on it. I always like it when the aztec blocks are used abundantly like that and the effect that came off was great. Also some of the landscaping was really tasteful and oozing with a bit of traditional LL atmosphere so that won me over. It was an interesting take on an Asian theme overall which looked like you used images from China a lot? The huge pagodas reminded me of the forbidden city.
Monstrocity had a really cool Dracula ride and Dive Machine which I both liked. The rest was just too much at once, all over the place, hectic, competing for attention, lagging the game, squeezed into tiny corners of the map and overall made things pretty unenjoyable for me.

That wasn't so hard, right?

I loved how you guys executed everything. One of the better parks this season.

Even though I can open the parks in game, I still think that I shouldn't be able to vote because I can't do shit in LL.
As for Monstrocity, some really nice hacking is going on in there. I really liked the 'Krake-style' dive machine.

You don't have to be a great artist to appreciate great art.

You have done a great job, a nice park. Not the most original theme but I see some lovely things. I like the entrance of the park. The skull is really nice. But like some other things in this park I can’t recognize everything. What is the round white object on the building and that white lines under? I mostly love the sculptures you create. That fish, the wizard in the castle, the spiderweb, the werewolf and the others. Only the birds are irritating me
Great work.
Revolutionists – The Lost Samurai
For a LL park it’s impressive. I love the way you create the roofs with coasters-tracks and I see a lot of nice details in it. The gardens are a little bit disappointed. The oriental gardens have a structure I can’t recognize in it. It looks like a palace and there must be flower/ colorful plants, trees with special leaf and nice ponds with waterfalls en shore plants. I’m not a big LL fan but this park is very nice.
My vote goes to Heaven’s kitchen

Monstrocity on the other hand failed to impress on the overview but blew me away upon opening. Loved all the little details and the rides over all were good fun and inventive. The woodie especially. So shockingly for the 2nd week in a row my vote goes against an LL park.
vote: Heaven's Kitchen

These are both really good on the standards of their own games; it's so hard to choose one over the other!
After giving both of these a thorough look, I'm going to have to say Heaven's Kitchen this time. Sorry LLutionists, I just didn't think this was quite as good as Monstrocity.
