New Element is proud to present two new NE Designs!
Chamonix is a fabulous suspended coaster by Marshy that makes a huge impact.
X-Men is a colorful B&M looper from one of NE's most notorious parkmakers, Kumba, with help from one of NE's most epileptic parkmakers, JKay.
Both are fantastically awesome, and many congrats to the parkmakers for some nice work!

I thought it was titan's design.
Oh well. I'll comment later when I have the time to look.

Stupid being posix, but not that harsh about Marshy's style. Its ok, and the coaster was...well its a suspended without a dual lift .

Chamonix by Marshy
People say it's unoriginal, but really I see you in this, not everyone else. The coaster was ok, but the atmostphere was right on. Well done on this deserving design (more deserving than most might I add)
X-men by Jkay and Kumba
JKay, you got screwed... I really did like the coaster. Alot of the architecture was original and really caught my eye. Some was so-so, which kinda brought this down from awesome to cool. The lights added a great effect to the atmosphere as well. If the landscaping/foliage were in better order, as well as having all the buildings on par with the best ones, this would be one of my favorite designs. As it is, I think it is extremely fun, and even with a few shortcomings, is still is one of my favorites to date.
Thanks to Marshy, JKay, and Kumba, as well as Cork for posting 'em! Nice to have an update.

Marshy's was very lovely. The atmosphere was so rich, and beautiful. I thought the entrance was fantastic, but the pathing needed to be sorted out imo. The coaster wasn't to my likings, especially when it went for a second lift... the whole layout was a bit too diagonal. Architecture was great in spots, but maybe too box-ish in other spots. I really enjoyed this though, and it definitely deserved the spot.
X-men was just alright for me. The coaster layout was very good, and flowed quite nicely. I like the architecture, which was fun and not too serious. The colors were too wacky for me to be honest. It was like going through a circus... sorry. I hate those flashing lights, they are a real big peeve of mine, and always remind me of las vegas - which doesn't suit the whole X-men theme imo. At least it kept me looking. Fun. Good job to both of you. Jkay is improving real quickly, and it's definitely for the better. I'm excited to see where this guy goes
Good job to the three of you.

Chamonix
The coaster was nice, although i didn't really like it's speed, the themeing was par, nothing great and nothing crap just bang smack in the middle, i enjoyed parts of the coaster where you had waterfall interaction, but apart from that i didn't enjoy it much.
X-men
Ok this design had alot of flaws imo, the thing i did like though was that amazing X-Men sign, great TT work to whoever done that. My main concern was the rest of the themeing and the coaster. The coaster had it's moments don't get me wrong but it was weak, also what is it with you and those horrible corkscrews and the end of the coaster, really take the coaster down. The themeing just didn't work, i mean it didn't shout out "x-men" i think you had the colours of Marvel but not x-men, also the idea of this design is a bit stupid, everyone knows Titan is doing an x-men design, why have another one?
Anyways not bad designs just nothing great, pretty weak imo.[/font]

I enjoyed this one. The coaster layout was good (though a little slow in places) and fitted into the landscape well. The landscaping was very nicely done, very nicely indeed. I really liked it. As was the foliage. The architecture was very detailed and well constructed giving an overall veyr nice feel. However, the design just seemed slightly shallow. Didn't have much substance to it. Whilst everything you did was good, it just lacked little details that would make it stand out and it lacked a certain atmosphere, which is the only thing that really brought it down. Not really sure how you could change that. Anyway, it's great to see a very complete design when some that aren't even done get the spot...so great job on that and glad to see you back on the parkmaking scene Marshy boi. ~Oh yeah, as an afterthought, i think custom supports would have helped.
X-Men
I liked it. The coaster layout was solid and the colours worked well. Though I would have change the train colours. I don't like to have trains the same colours as the track. I liked the architecture in most places, although a little muddled in areas. The restaurant thing was nice and i liked how the eating areas went out onto the water. One of the details i really liked were X-toys. That actually really looked cool. The park made great use of neon-lights which is wonderful to see for a change. Overall, a very nice design, and deserved of the spot. Good job Jkay and Kumba
