I think the biggest pet peeve of mine that's grown over the years has been ridiculously un-supported coasters, and that inverted wild mouse is a perfect (if you could say that) example of this. Do you not look at that before thinking it's finalized? Next time, spend more time on realism of coasters than out of park animals, lol.

I loved this. Their is a certain charm about your work, whether it be in LL or RCT2, and it's fantastic.

If this were a potato, it would be a very atmoshperical, inspiring potato that sometimes looked like it was ncso!

didn't really care for the foliage, but other than that it was pretty cute.

Bronze felt very appropriate for this. While it was nothing impressive, it was very nostalgic. I quite enjoyed this and congrats Liam.

Was an enjoyable little park :)

Only issue I had with it when I opened it was that the inverted flying mouse was like, stalled. Like it said the train was waiting to depart from station and all of the trains were just sitting on the brakes. Same thing for the wooden coaster. I'm not sure if anyone else saw this or if it was just me just my observation.

Other than that it really reminded me of old school building. I feel like the word quaint is the perfect way to describe it. Congrats on the bronze either way!

Although I rated this before, I just came back from Roermond and really felt that you matched the atmosphere very well. The Vekoma whirlwind was very well recreated and fitting for a park like this.

I don't know given a clean slate that I would rate this that much higher if at all though - while you did capture that Dutch town atmosphere, there wasn't anything really setting the area apart from a town other than rides. Regardless of whether that was your aim, I thought it was enjoyable but not too creative. It would be akin to me making a park set in the streets of New Jersey.

Where are the green signs on the little white poles?
    But this is wonderfull Liampie!

Only thing i think that didn't fit in the total package was the sky glider.
But the other parts are really well done!

    Congratz!

Thanks for the replies! I'm really happy this won bronze, for several reasons:
    - A nice download page
    - It has been too long since I won something
    - Publicity
    - Honorary Mention would feel like a waste of effort, Silver would be ridiculous.

It was great fun to work on this park, semi-serious. By lowering your standards and building with larger objects building goes so much faster, almost as fast as LL sometimes. Now this park is done I will definately do the same to another old park. I've got quite a bunch to choose from. :)

Roomie is right... In 2006 Walibi Belgium was building this weird ride and everyone was trying to recreate it in RCT. Naturally, I had to try it too. I had very little hacking knowledge, so I couldn't do much better than this. :p I agree that it looks horribly. However, deleting it would defeat the whole purpose of finishing an old park. That's why I barely changed anything in the old areas.

Whoops, sorry! Didn't spot that. Happens more often though, not only to me. I have no idea what causes this.

To be honestly frank, I don't see any resemblance... Even though I aimed for a Dutch atmosphere in the fortified area, which I didn't do very well in 2006. Personally I think I integrated the architecture into a theme park setting well enough.

Where are the green signs on the little white poles?

You mean the hectometer poles? In included them, at least the white poles. :p Forgot them in some places though.

Come on Liam, we all want a 85%+ release from you, which you're well capable of.

Directly reminded me of Guide and all the great parks that we've seen on it. Never expected you to finish this, though it's fantastic!

Convinced me to start working on an old project I've never finished, after over a year of total RCT-inactivity. :)

I've noticed that this happens after messing with the clearances.

Anyway, great little park! I loved it. :D
