Ive finished it once, the file is lost or overwritten.Think i may have overwritten it with the American adventure map.Ill give it another go at some point since this map is so close to finished.
Just took a look at this. It was quite clear which areas were inspired and which weren't... The inspired areas were incredible: the station with its surroundings, and the dead end street with the diagonal arches over the entry. Fantastic job on the foliage as well!
Do you travel a lot RRP? Your themes and general inspiration usually eerily remind me of random moments in my own travels, oftentimes a mix of two or more places. It'd be great to hear if there was any specific real-world inspiration for this and even to what degree it was inspired and what degree was dreamed up by you from scratch.
It's no surprise that from the insight gained from seeing your incomplete stuff that it seems you finish areas with the most unique inspiration first and lately, it's just been a problem of filling in those less-inspired areas which prevents you from completing something. I know the feeling myself and have been trying to manage it by not releasing the parks/designs even if they are like 70% completed in hopes that new inspiration bites me in the ass someday. My question then is, are you or have you thought of holding back one or two special projects that you hope to complete someday?

Travel definitely inspires me and usually end up building something inspired by where ive been, that I thought was nice. I research a lot aswell though. This map was inspired by the port area at port aventura, based on what I could remember and followed up with research.
You're right about finishing things though, as I usually only play when inspired by something and have time, then lose interest in rct again.
This is everything I was working on except a area in collab park.
