Nossirreebob! I never said I disliked hacks, I just don't want to have too much of them. I prefer to think my way around problems, rather than become dependant on trainers. This is the challenge that has kept me so into RCT1. I've done hacks. I won't deny that. They make it interesting, but I just don't want to make every attraction hack dependant.
A few examples: I created a B&M inverted called Spiderman. It uses a spinning barrel as a way to give the "spidy sense is tingleing" effect. (The track is routed above the barrel, and the trains pass through it.) On the same coaster, the track dives repeatedly underground in a cityscape environment where the trains sqeek by a number of underground monorail trains. The tunnels were all pretty much in the same place, so I simply routed the monorail track to & fro and added as many monorail trains as possible to increase coaster and transport encounters. Thing is, the monorail turned out to be pretty popular as well
A flying coaster hack just passes through a number of colorful abstract cubes (train face up) as it makes a U-turn atop a castle tower. The only reason why is because there was no scenery and I wanted it to be a better feature.
Another hack was using a virtical coaster track, (as virtically speaking, could occupy only one tile. I hacked a flying coaster train & launched the train to the highest possible buildable point. (I'd have to check, but I think it was an 80 mph launch.) I built a space age "castle" around the opening, and wrapped a spiral of footpath upwards around it as high as land and path would go. It was so cool to watch this train pop out the top, and pass through the spiral, (open to peeps,) and extend further beyond. Then reverse direction and drop back through again. With the station underground, the ratings said it was 200 ft. drop. Why? Because throwing 20 to 30 peeps in the air was a lot better than just eight with a whoa belly tower. You could charge more too.
So I wouldn't say I disliked hacks, I just don't go overboard with them.
So, yeah, Zero Clearance was one of the features I would be interested in checking out. I got this crazy idea for a centepede ride, (mini steel spinning cars) based on the video game. I just wish I could break the trains apart and the sections of trains would then follow separate paths to individual stations... Yeah, no lasers to shoot at the trains, can't have it all.
Sure! Let me go find it in my albums at Twisted RCT, and I'll post the urls here. So look for an update on this post, soon, like right now! That means "hit reload", K?
BTW: These urls go to my albums of my parks, so feel free to look through them and PM any comments &/or suggestions.

alright, so i install LL on XP. everything goes as it should and always has. when i try to do anything after the RCT menu (click the load game button, new game, even exit), RCT just halts. i have no idea what the hell happened. i've reinstalled 4 times, still the same thing.
ok what is the mega-park and how do you start out your own parks on RCT (not start out with the scenarios the computer has)...
Ive never to make my own parks on RCT before...
to start an rct1 (also referred to as rctll) solo park you download my workbench which you'll find in the initial post. it's called "ace workbench". you'll find it under "2)"
i knew it was rct1, i just didn't know what version the mega-park was in... i thought it was in 1. also, thanks, i was confused about how you guys started your own parks on 1... i might try it soon!
ummm, if anyone can help me... whenever I insert my LL disc to install it (RCT1 installs fine) my computer thinks... then does nothing. When I check the computer, it claims there is nothing in the drive. How do I fix this?
Surprisingly enough, I just experienced the problem when I tried to open up Stranglove's park. I don't know if this is helpful or not, but just restarting the computer worked in my case.
-I get RCT installed fine.
-Then installing LL is tried to no avail. My computer (XP) will not recognize the disc.
-I try opening the normal RCT game to see if it's working. It is.
-After exiting, and trying to install the CF disc next, instead of LL, it claims RCT must be installed before any expansions. Fuck.
-So then I try uninstalling RCT, and it gives me some crap about an unidentified log, so it can't be erased.
-I go and look for the file it's trying to tell me about. It doesn't exist.
-So now I'm pissed and delete the whole damn folder.
-The uninstall still doesn't work because it thinks that log file still exists.
-I get so pissed off I destroy my computer then come to post about it on my mom's computer. (I didn't really destroy it, I'm just really mad)
Like I said in another post, I installed LL this morning. When I tried to download the four trainers, the link to the Beast Trainer was broken. Anybody know where else I can get it?
It fixed itself now, I dunno why. But now I have one more question. After you hit 'Begin Special Build Mode' and then 'Execute Stack Scenery', how do you actually stack the scenery? I've never played LL before other than the scenarios so I've never had to do this.
Thanks. Now I have one last question. Everything went pretty smoothly up until this point. For part 1.1) of posix's guide, I finished it and got everything working, but when I tried to takes a screenshot it said 'Screenshot Failed!' and I can't figure out how to fix it. I did the thing twice, and that didn't work. I can't seem to figure it out. Any help on this so I can get some feedback on my work would be greatly appreciated.
