I just started a new park, and I suddenly wanted to get rid of the height restrictions. I tried the Beast trainer first, but it didn't work. Okay.
In this topic I discovered the dragonstrainer or whatever it's called. You warned no ride in the park can have a name longer than 8 letters and you better use a blank workbench or the game will crash. Therefore I tried to do it in the ace workbench, but the game still crashed...
I finally found an idea I want to execute in LL, and again the trainer aren't working. If all the trainers did work, you'd probably have already like three full solos from me.
BTW, is there any way to get the Codex Trainer working with the Dutch version of the game?
I currently don't know a cure for this problem, sorry
And I don't think codex can work with the Dutch version. I would advise you to just install the game in English if you have the multilanguage European RCTLL.

I'm running XP, and RRM has a different problem. His game freezes, while I get an error trapper...

Ah, okay, you hadn't mentioned earlier your error was the typical "error trapper". Are you absolutely sure there is no ride or shop on the map? Are you trying to do "remove height restrictions" on my empty aceworkbench?
The game loads, but when the window launches the window's screen is black and I up pops the error trapper. It worked fine yesterday, it's literally just started when I went to play earlier today?
I know it can probably be sorted by re-installing but that is such a hassle, just wondering if there is an easier/quicker way to fix it.
It sounds like you may have a corrupt data file that didn't get deleted.
If you uninstall RCT, then check to see if the RCT folder is still in your My Programs folder. If it is, then go into it and look in the data folder. You should find a dat file that didn't uninstall when you uninstalled RCT. Simply delete this file and then install again as normal.
at least on my machine, this is not possible.
instead, right click rct.exe > properties > compatibility > run in xp mode AND run as admin
i don't know if it helps, but i run my trainers the exact same way just in case.
what's the point? have one, and your post comes back.

I didn't think of that, thanks!
Anyway, RCT seems to be Brittish now so I'll try everything again!
edit: OH MY GOD, Codex works!
edit2: The dragonthing works now too! Thanks, thanks, and a lot of kisses from Holland!

I've also tried running it in Win 98 and Win 95 mode with no luck (my op system is XP).
I've tried it by opening the game before opening a save game and also tried it by double clicking a save game and I get the same message.
It's really frustrating as it was fine and now all of a sudden it's not working.

Hopefully that should solve your problem.
Edit: Thanks, it worked

Could someone please upload the Beast Trainer, IOA Trainer, and the Savegame Modifier.
