jesus christ, i finally got around to look at it.
    what a masterpiece.
why parks like these don't get more attention and more praise is beyond me. this was the best realistic park in rct2 i have ever seen. i looked at it for freaking ages.
i hope you are still active, superscreamer? anyone know where to find him? which site he belongs to? anything?

I tried sending it to Iris before I ever released it but I guess it wasnt good enough to get a runner up.

    iris, you have issues...

I'm not paying $$$ to download it, don't think so.
  • iris%s's Photo
lol first off I can't download it. Second, I've never heard of it so he didnt send it to me.
    *shrug*

I agree with marshy. I'm not paying money or registering.

Honestly it doesnt even look that kick ass (for whenever it was released) going by the screens

^uhm, this park really doesn't get justice from the screens. You really need to see it in-game. I still love this park, especially because this stuff is rare.

Ah i remeber this park, believe me it is beyond amazing. Everyone must download it! Seriously though, probably the most realistic park i have seen yet in any RCT.

Ok I checked it out after reading all this fuss about it (for the first time, the dude didn't submit it to the right place I guess).

It would have made Runner-Up. Nothing more, nothing less. It's a very good park, a great realistic one. When building realistic parks, you have to do everything just perfect if you're gonna recreate the real park atmosphere. I think for the most part he did that superbly. I mean the atmosphere in the park was beyond perfect, makes me wish more parkmakers built realistic stuff. Obviously there was some strong coaster knowledge throughout the park, as evident by the construction of the Screaming Squirrel, etc. The actual coaster layouts left a lot to be desired for me. I really hated everytime a coaster hit the mid-brake run and the whole train came screeching to a complete stand still virtually. Half of the coaster layouts were near clones of other coasters, and about a quarter of them really disappointed (the flyer in particular I remember, the Dive Machine didn't do much for me either, nor did that inverted launched thing). One thing I loved was the 4D coaster, even though it sorta reminded me of X, I loved how it was situated right on the beautiful beach...made for a perfect atmosphere even in RCT2. The architecture was nice I guess, it was pretty realistic but really didn't hold much attention for me...but I guess it's not supposed to.

The little Mario area was a little disappointing too...I think that he could have done a little more with it. I understand it was a kiddy area, but still, with the custom pieces he had and all the space on the map, I was expecting a little bit more. I loved the waterpark though, that was awesome. The hotel rocked, with the volleyball courts and the packed parking lot, little touches. Wanna make the character full...real [/starskyandhutchmoviemoment]. The highway was cool, the camping site was pretty original (coulda been done a bit better though imo), the little farm was nice, etc.

Another thing that kinda turned me away was the fact that it's billed as a '256 x 256' park. Yet theres like an ocean on one half of the park, a lot of trees on the other, that large little city/town thing taking up a lot of space, a beach, etc. Meaning the park really wasn't near a 256x256 content wise.

Still, it was a much needed time-killer, a pleasent surprise. If this guy still visits the site I hope he continues making parks. It's not the greatest realistic park I've ever seen like many people seem to be making it out as (still pales in comparison to Six Flags Worlds of Excitement imo), but it was fun to walk through.

    7.5/10

I'm glad more people are noticing this guy's work. He's made some recs as well, ttd for one. I think I'm gonna talk to him and get him on the site more.

Wow, this park is f-ing amazing! It's extremely well done! One of the best RCT2 parks I've seen.

Major, major props need to go out to SupremeScreamer, because you sir built one hell of a good park!

    :yup:
  • Marshy%s's Photo
Well I personall didn't like it much. Probably because it's not my style of park, and I don't really visit many theme parks so I don't know what to look for in a realistic park. But props for finishing a 256x256 park.

I personally didn't enjoy most of it very much. However the 4D with it's music, colors and beachside setting struck a perfect chord with me. That's exactly how a 4D at Cedar Point would be imo and that makes it excellent all by itself. The waterpark did a lot for me to, the custom supports and the little ride directer guys. Other than that I didn't love anything however I spotted cool little details like rock masonary supporing the sides of coaster tunnels and such, that's the kind of thing I just love.

Basically I like the park and from a realistic standpoint it's definently one of the top 5 ever, but WOE still owns.

This park didn't really hold my attention for too long, but I can certainly respect what its going for. Its definitely the best realistic park to be released since SFWoE, but no where near as entertaining or exciting. There were some really good ideas executed with decent execution, such as the RV park, highway, entrance gates (for cars), hotel and volleyball courts. Other than that, nothing really memorable. The next best aspect of the park would be support work on a lot of the steel coasters. The architecture seemed uninspired. One other aspect that bothered me was that there were multiple types of the same coaster, like three woodies, each only themed by differing paint jobs. But you get some bonus points for making it peep-friendly, which is always a plus in my book. The park had its moments, but definitely leaves room for improvement in the theming and ride design departments. Lots of pros and cons imo, with the pros just out-weighing the cons. Its certainly a huge accomplishment and better than the average park out there so congrats on that. I'd like to see more, thats for sure.

I actually liked this park a bit better than SFWoE. The number one factor in that was definitely the aesthetics - I found that the fact that this park was much more spread out, rides more separated and individual, made it more aesthetically pleasing and less crowded. Coasters here were allowed to stand out for what they were, most situated "by themselves." I also applaud SupremeScreamer for being able to shed any trace of specific theming - it invited the viewer to focus on the coasters and attractions as far and away the most important element in the park. The hotel and waterpark were also masterfully done. Again I tend to like this waterpark better than SFWoE because even though the rides were not operational (which was amazing in the latter park), there was much less color clash. The only thing I didn't like about Premier were some of the coaster names - Suicide, Lumber Massacre, GraveDigger, etc. - kinda morbid.

I loved this park. You got me very, very, very inspired to do a realistic park. The park didn't take very long to explore, though. that doesn't mean it was bad, far away, but just as detailed and themed as an realistic park should be IMO.

It really is nice to see these parks that focus on realism. I've always wanted to do one and this just gives me more initiative to do one. But I just really like how he put everything together with little to no specific themed areas. It was just very nice. I believe there's a bit more to be hoped for with coaster designs, and some of the unrealistic ones such as the impulse thing. But otherwise it was a very fun park to take a walk through. I hope to see some more from this guy soon.

This is a REALISTIC park? What? I looked, and, you know what? I didn't see any realism. I saw tons of paths, crap architecture, and even worse rides, but no realism. Sorry. Then again, the "real" parks I grew up with were Busch Gardens, Universal Studios, Walt Disney World, and Sea World. Maybe I'm just a little spoiled then? Still, this makes me long for the days of, say, mrICE. When realistic parks were both good and TRULY realistic. None of this crap.

Interesting style. A bit too barren for my taste though, everything is way too spread out.

    ^^You suck.

    ^lol

but you know... he is partly right... It's not so realistic park... and not sooooo good park... it's a nice park...
