what the fuck my house is like 200 metres off the edge of the map, also your park has a chronic lack of the other important school in bussum ('t willem, niet die tokkies bij het wellant)
I'd say it has a chronic lack of finishedness... I wanted to include so much more memories. Sadly, my motivation flew out the window with the years passing. And my memory is not as fresh anymore.
1. willem de zwijger college, met nieuwe kut vijver
2. jan tabak
3. de bibliotheek
4. de albert heijn
5. het casino (never went there myself, but i need the railwaycrossing to get to school so i look at it.
6. every drinkingplace in town, come on liam i bet you've been drunk in bussum like most of us (btw naarden is the best)
7. the pettingzoo (although you could not actually get into it since it were all just deer, much to 5 year old me's great annoyance
i really wish this would've been finished, and that my house would be visibile lol, but i guess architecture projects like this lose their charm after a while.

Het Spiegel would've been interesting to do, if I did that it's very well possible that your school would be included. It's just a little too far away from 'my' area...

This definitely would've been included if I had more patience. It's a distinctive building, crucial to the look of the railway crossing.

I'm not very fanatic with drinking, don't think I've been drunk in Bussum. Most of the drinks I had there are on the map though. Murphy's, De Peuk, De Jaargang or whatever all that shit was called. Perhaps I would've included De Kraan...

Like 't Willem it's too far I guess, but I do have memories about that place... Chasing pigs and seducing sheep.

The more I talk and think about this, the memories come back and the more I'd like to come back to this map and build a little further. Coincidentally I met my two of my old train buddies last Tuesday, also recalling stuff we did and said in this very neighbourhood. This is the most nostalgic mood I've been in in years.
i must say liampie, you truly made me appreciate the town that i still live in, although i am a bit jaelous because right now all the people my age use whatsapp to communicate and if they come over pretty much no time is spent outside of the property unless you're going to a speciffic place, i really miss lighting mini bushfires with my friends in elementary at 'het veldje', or so we called it, or the field, it was an old piece of grass owned by the nearby wellandcollege and we'd run around and do stuff like football, one time we even held our own super awesome olympics and videotaped it. sadly all the footage was lost because it turned out all the footage was not of us, but of the grass thanks to my friends idiot brother.
liampie, could we do something where we create stuff from our neighborhoods on here or on the new block if we're doing it dutch? i'd really love to get the awesome oppertunity to compete in something where everybody recreates their old school building or their house from when they were a kid

We shouldn't turn every even remotely interesting thing into a community wide project... No one would be interested, including myself.
