  Yeah, like I said in the dump, it felt like you just staying in your comfort zone. There is really nothing wrong with this, it's just...average. The layout was fine, but nothing about it was really special or memorable enough to make it a design for me. The surroundings (though similar to your other work) were still pretty fun to explore, the grills were a cool touch as well.
  
  Now, one thing that REALLY killed the viewing were the peeps, as soon as the park is opened, they're already jammed, the park rating is already 0, everything is already hell...not to mention the constant messages about the fuckers being unhappy. It honestly would've been better with no peeps at all.

  I agree, its like the same old same old from you, Mav. Its just...decent now that I've seen it a hundred times. Granted its much better than anything I've ever made, but I still wish you'd step out of that comfort zone a bit. This isn't design worthy, but is close. A solid layout, theming and archy would warrant a 55% from me had I been on the panel.
  
  But K0NG, its not really that bad....is it? I didn't think so...now obviously, rating it any higher still wouldn't have helped its chances at winning...

  Edit: Ok, there must have been a glitch in the system or something because, while I think this was a generic, toss-it-out-and-hope-for-another-accolade effort from Mav, there's no way I would have given this a 10. Hell, I'd have given it at least 20 just for putting 25 game years into it. Looking at it just now, I'm thinking 45. And no MA, I wasn't drunk...I never even open an accolade submission unless I'm 100% sober, let alone vote on it.
  
  Whatever the reason for that showing as a 10...thankfully, the high and low votes get tossed so it had no effect on the final tally. This wasn't terrible...it just wasn't very good.
  
  Edit#2: And since I saw posix post before I finished editing mine...I guaranfuckingtee you that I didn't intentionally give this a 10, and I'm pretty fucking pissed that you'd post a 'from on-high, holier-than-thou' comment like that dissing me for what is obviously some kind of, in your own words, "terrible mistake". And no tongue-in-cheek here (my adrenaline is seriously flowing hard just from reading that bullshit)....admin or not, use some fucking common sense before you post shit like that man
  
  Edit#3: Particularly since you'd already seen me say that I had to take another look at the fucking thing because I obviously couldn't understand why I'd give it a 10 myself. Jesus Fucking Christ...think, man.

  I agree that this wasn't special, but it deserved a higher score in my opinion. I also hope that 10% was accidental.

  Regardless whether it counts or not, giving 10% for this is a terrible mistake and I'm pretty pissed that it comes from someone who kept pming us about prolonging the voting time so he could give parks his suposedly proper, in-depth and sophisticated analysis.

  Having had a while to digest the above post and not calming down one fucking iota...even though there was obviously some kind of mistake involved, having posix call me out in that fashion has me thinking that it's possible, if not probable, that every vote I cast from here on out is going to be questioned. I've never seen anyone be called out like that, by admin, for any particular vote they've cast, mistake or no mistake. And, I've seen some pretty questionable scores in the past. I know you don't like me man, but c'mon...be professional here.
  Anyway, as much as I enjoy being a part of the accolade process and voting on submissions, I think whoever is in charge might as well just fucking remove me from the fucking panel.

  Huh. Well, I thought this one started with a lot of promise, but it ended up quite lackluster. I kind of got the impression that you wanted to be done with this so you could move on to bigger and better things, which is fine and respectable. Looking forward to seeing what you're next project is.
  
  And as for KONG'S 10 vote: whether it was a mistake or not, there have been some really questionable votes on parks before. This would not be the most outrageous thing I've ever seen. It's not that big of a deal either way.

  I took a look at this and unlike some of the more regulars I haven't seen your building style so much so I did enjoy the architecture and found most of it reasonably new to me at least. The layout was okay but I really didn't like how the drop after the MCBR was essentially a copy of the main drop (holding break, vertical drop, same inversion), thought that was just needlessly repetitive! The pirate ship and kraken were pretty cool though!
  
  As for Kong's 10 vote, I think anyone who's been on this site for a while should know there's no way he'd do that intentionally, probably not even if he were really drunk and in a bad mood I don't think he'd do that. And it would be one hell of a loss to lose Kong on the accolade panel over an obvious misvote.

  I really enjoyed the coaster, the theming was great and I loved the drop through the ship, I imagine that being really fun in real life
  The major problem with this was the lack of interaction with the midway. The peeps couldn't see the actual Kraken mouth or the splash down from anywhere but the ride, and could barely see the first drop. If you've ever been to either Busch Gardens with SheiKra and Griffon, and possibly even Oblivion, one very noticable thing is that not only are dive machines fun rides, but they transform the area they're in. Here you just have a straight midway with the coaster off to the side and no path or anything underneath it
  
  Overall I would have given this about a 63

  Yeah... Kong, no hard feelings. I was a bit mad at first however, mainly that you had the first vote in and I thought you did it on purpose. Then as the rest of the votes rolled in I realized it must have been some form if accident. Obviously I'm dissapointed it didn't get a design but looking back, it is not much different than my other work, just with a different theme. My future work will be different, and I'll do all I can to make sure it is both different and better.

  The fact that people can actually get pretty angry at an internet forum about something as fun and carefree as Rollercoaster Tycoon still boggles my mind...
  
  On to the design... I really didnt care for it much, mainly for reasons stated already.

  It's not that I've been "called out"...it's by whom and, accompanied by the sarcastic comments that followed that were admittedly (at least in private conversation) exaggerated that lend credence to my ire. When someone in "power" makes negative statements to that effect, I'm pretty sure that it will have a negative impact on anyone from here on out that receives a lower score from me than they might think they deserve. I take pride in being absolutely unbiased (unlike other un-named panelists here) and completely open-minded when I judge a submission. Again...there was obviously some mistake, whether it was on my part or from a glitch in the system that allowed it to show a 10 vote on my part here. Anyone with any common sense whatsoever would realize this.
  Of course I don't really want to leave the panel...I just don't want anyone that submits anything to have anything but 100% faith in my judgement. And, my judgement...along with my credibility as an accolade panelist has been called into question here. That bothers me. As I'm sure it would anyone else put in this situation.
  
  But, it's all good. Whatever faith in me that certain admin seem to lack is countered by the faith that I'm sure, by reading the replies here, that the majority of members here retain.
  
  And Mav...sorry to fuck your thread up here with all of this bullshit. I didn't give it a 10. Trust me.

  I really liked the station. The little pond gave it the illusion the whole thing was floating. And the line's were cool to, especcially liked the way uou did the entrance/exit together.
  
  Sadly, that was about all I liked about this. The rest wasnt bad. Just Mehh. The Architecture was nice, but suffered from the Belgianguy Syndrome of being somewhat useless, or you dont know what the buildings are for. There just sortofff random. And the splashdown, it should be where guests can see it and go ohh ahh, but no it was on a hill, not clearly visible or enticing. Think Busch Gardens or Manta.
  Edit-actually, the ship was cool. But we just saw that in Steel.
  
  I think though that you have loads of potential though. I like your parks more than your Designs...
  I cant wait to see what you do next but hope you spend more time on it and make it more original.
