I think if you started comparing parks, the ratings wouldn't be fair after a while,
comparing a 2007 spotlight with a 2010 spotlight isn't really fair, is it ?
that's kinda what'll happen if you keep comparing, I think.
edit: seccond time gave the same problem

i dont think it will happen but your right it isnt fair. rct2 building in our days has grown much better with smaller scenery like 1k objects etc. it still doesnt make the older parks worse though as NCSO builders still exist and continue to build great stuff like nin.imo its maybe harder to satisfy or suprise the pannelists now as much has already been done but this only makes the future submitions better. i think some people here just submit shit for the hell of getting a few points in the ranking! this doesnt apply to wildroller as this submition wasnt all bad. atleast effort was made and i also think the score is fair.
The others are OK to look (quite fun if they can be operated).
This was really great for your first try though. Keep at it! Not a lot get an accolade on their first try.
Has a Quad Racing coaster ever won design?

Yes, unfortunately that was something I didn't know I could avoid when I started this project, I found out later the stations would have been able to sync properly even when the dummy tracks were closed. At that point though, I thought the amount of work too fix it wasn't worth it (would of had to destroy half the station so a mechanic could fix the 4 dummy tracks! Lesson learned for next time I use dummy tracks on a racing coaster!
