When I opened the map I liked most of what I saw, but the deeper I got into the park the less I liked it... In my memory it looked like most attention went into the front part of the park. If the rest was as good, I would've voted a lot higher.

This reminded me deeply about the Coaster Canyon scenario in Loopy Landscapes. Nice idea to have a park in a wider canyon like this. I'm looking forward to more of your work!

Well, I was shooting for 40% and some constructive criticism. Boy I'm surprised how much Roomie liked it, as my semi-realism is quite different, but thanks!
nin, what would you consider "better execution"? This was supposed to be a mom & pop park with an older, more established front section, and a more recently developed, high-intensity back half. As far as more attention being put in the front half, I probably put more time into the front, but less thought. So maybe I should just keep building and go with my instincts rather than build/delete/build/delete?
In case anyone wondered, my initial inspiration came from watching "Castle in the Sky", but I quickly realized how difficult it would be to achieve an appropriate effect of the huge canyons full of mining villages, but the railroad itself turned out to be a great centerpiece.
My next park is much bigger, but I wanted to submit this since it was finished.

Thanks nin, I understand now that you don't like the "Chris Sawyer" scenario look. Well, I like that original RCT feel, so I actually worked to preserve it with things like construction rights and park boundary fences. Not that anyone cares, but this park actually started as Leafy Lake, not one of the canyon scenarios.

Had I got in quick enough and voted, I would have gone 50%. I felt this was Bronze worthy. It was so cute and was nicely done, nothing overly special, but it had charm.
