I truely appreciate the amount of time and hacking that it took to get Montezuma to function properly. Has anybody else noticed what had to be done to get it to function with block brakes?

^I tried to figure out how it worked once, but I gave up. That says something about the level of skill put into this park.

I've got a tutorial that he emailed to me, very indepth, with loads of great step by step screenshots. We chatted at length about this, for a project that I'm working on.

I'm tellin' ya, it's the best hack I've ever seen, and I can guarantee that not a whole lot of people have even noticed how unique that coaster is.

Thanks for the continued kind comments!

Im starting to think that this park is completely based off of Magic Kingdom type parks.

It's based off the model of a standard theme park, I guess, which Disney really initiated, whereby you have a central hub with a centrepiece and then all the lands offshoot from there. But it's not actually specifically Disney-influenced at all. None of the lands feel very Disney to me either - at least they weren't intended to be. The 'central hub' with the Hotel as a centrepiece is more modelled on Alton Towers - there's a grassy area where people can chill out, small lake, with the historic castle/towers overlooking all that. I adapted that, and instead of the towers, I decided to build the hotel - I really wanted the hotel to be right in the middle of the action, so that if you ever were a guest at this park, you really would be 'on-site', and right in the centre of the 'magic', so to speak ;)

Looked at this again. Montezuma is incredible

Again, thanks for the positive comments. It did take a while to hack it properly - I'd just ridden Maverick at Cedar Point and wanted a go at making my version of the ride... so strived for perfection with it: I wanted to have it running multiple trains, seeing as that adds quite a lot to Maverick's ride experience - you get a duelling/racing effect in some segments. So it's a complex-ish, time-consuming hack which won't get noticed that much, but I think it's really worth it for the multiple trains effect... and yeh, it's a coaster I'm really proud of.

God, my love for this park is still so strong ...

eyeamthu1, I'm sad we haven't heard from you ever since. I take it RCT has lost some of its excitement for you?

Not at all! Since completing this I've toyed with ideas for a few projects and even made some starts with them... I've finally collated all these ideas down into a single project I want to build now, and that's underway, but is in its very very early stages. I may build a design alongside it. But the reason why it's taken so long and I've been so inactive is basically cos I've been very very wrapped up with my studies at University - had some massive exams this year. Those are now out of the way so I now have some more time for RCT and can really get going on some new stuff. I won't really post stuff on the forum unless it's fairly complete or I'm ready to show it, so am keeping it all fairly 'underground' for now. But don't worry, there'll be some more RCT from me yet!

    That's great dude!
Is there any news on your parkmaker page? I'd like to view your previous parks while you're making new stuff! I collected a few things already, but I'm sure there's much more. :)

    ^ Ok, I'll get on it ;)

How long did it take you to make this? When I first saw this, I was speechless.

A long time. 2 years or so? I think I started it properly in June 2006 - because I went to Spain that Summer and visited some Spanish parks... the X-Car coaster was the first ride I built and was inspired by a similar ride in Madrid... and a lot of the themes I used (Wild West and Aztec) were heavily inspired by PortAventura. So I finished in July 2008... so yeh, 2 years or so.

Sorry to bump this from a very long time ago1 I just wanted to say this is such a very beautiful scenic nice theme park you ever built here! I really liked the frostbite inverted (reminded me of alton towers nemesis) dragon king (and the area somehow makes me think of port aventura) & i really liked the hotel & waterpark in the middle of the park which made my mind blew away! I think this is very great as your Bramble Lake Resort is! I wish Bramble Lake, Magic Realms Resort, & then Sunset Valley were in real life but where at?
