There are lots of things in the park which could be improved, like the pacing of some coasters, and of course some of us enjoy more detailed buildings.
But then I absolutely love how much there is here! A huge map (what's the exact size?!) and 8,000 guests... 8,000! That's ridiculous! So huge props to making such a massive scale park peep friendly.
There could be a lot of changes to make it more... "New Element", but I prefer it just as it is. Just so charming and fun.
Apart from the pacing on the B&M over near the water park... that does suck a little!
My favourite bit is the Crystal Beach Cyclone. The way it looks and is set up with the station is just awesome.
I'm sure to open this and just watch rides and follow peeps around alot over the next couple of weeks.

edit: the aerial has errors and won't load, but I'm assuming you already know this.

As for the rest of the park, the coasters and selection of rides were great. Some of the coasters had pacing problems, but beyond that the layouts were great, especially the terrain version of Batman. Mount Suspisious was well done to fit the terrain and Logger's Revenge looks like it would be a kick ass ride with the interaction with surrounding rides. Reminds me very much of SFMM's Log Jammer in that way. The whole park was flooded with atmosphere in this way that made it about on par with Busch Gardens.
The hotels and sports areas outside the park were a nice touch that contributed the realistic feel of a resort.
Congrats on the win!

That's all it takes to separate a bronze from a silver from a gold and potential spotlight.
Or getting an honorable mention.
I hope people understand shit like this....even someone that's followed this for quite some time found faults with it. And he didn't have to actually rate it.
It ain't easy to judge submissions. Trust me. Especially knowing that someone's fate lies in your hands.
So, stop fucking complaining when something doesn't score big. We do it as honestly and subjectively as is humanly possible.

I'm going to assume this is just a really bad typo.

This Park was advertised as a 'Six Flags' park while over at Theme Park Review.
I do agree upon the coasters. Most of the layouts were nice, and I liked how the coasters achieved good capicities in favor for the peeps, but while looking around, one of the coasters crashed. Pacing was indeed a major issue, but the fact this is built on a 256*256 map, I'm impressed. All in all, Great job Enigma!

Just exploring this park is a massive undertaking. I'm amazed anyone managed to build it. Stylistically it takes me back to the old rct2.com and RCT Station style of parkmaking. The Mike Robbins kinda stuff. Really atmospheric, really thick trees, and a mix of bright and pastel colors. Even though it's not the most amazing thing to look at somehow it just feels like somewhere I would want to be.
There's almost too many ideas on this map to properly appreciate... I'm sure I missed dozens of them and yet I was still impressed to trip bits of "great wall", boardwalk games, really brilliantly presented entrances for the e-ticket rides, different types of "shade" for each queue area, and bike rentals. The coasters were larger than life, though often a hair awkward (particularly in the pacing department... only Desperado's Revenge really seemed to flow).
And there was still a whole water park, parking garage, hotel complex, and cabins beyond that!
Though it looks a bit dated, and is too massive for it's own good The Sunset Resort should go down as one of the biggest (literally!) accomplishments of the year.
I can only imagine what you might be capable of using your good taste on a smaller map.

He had a Batman the Ride coaster in there, and with that also a looney Toon area, so it does hit that nostilogic appeal that SFI is know for.

SSSammy - Atmosphere was actually one of the primary goals when building this park. I wanted it to feel like an actual park with a more rct feel in it. What also helped was that I constructed the park from a peeps pov, What would they see when there walking here, or riding this etc... I have to agree that some parts were dead, and bare and wished I've done a better job on them. Now if only I could have had 16k worth of peeps, that would have been fun.
deanosrs - Thank you, this park after all was constructed with a style from like 2005/2006 so it was tough keeping it consistent. Some of the coasters did have a lot of pacing issues, so I will have to fix that in future projects, as for the details, I would have loved to put a little more throughout the park, but after building it for a few years, there comes a point in time where you just want to finish, and get it over with.
RamSam12 - Thank you Sam for following this park since the very beginning, some of your constructive criticism were very helpful, and kept the park changing constantly. If you could see yourself walking around in this park, then I performed well enough, since that was motivation for me to finish this park. I'll take slides comment into consideration the next time I build a water slide. The park began with many ideas from SFMM, aka the flume and terrain coaster were just the main few that I though were very nice.
posix - Scale was also a motivation I used to finish this park. Since there aren't many parks that are this big, I thought it would be fun to be one of those parks that are huge with decent quality. I'm glad my dedication to this project was noticeable, thank you.
Ride6 - The ideas for this park did come during a period when rct2 was at its height, so its not surprised that you get the rct2.com feel to it. As you said, there's plenty of things going on in this park, that I hope I could refine in later projects to seem even better then what i have presented here. I do plan on tackling another solo, probably on a slightly smaller scale, with a little but more of a NewElement feel to it.
