Description
This was my first completed and publicly released park at New Element. Much to my delight, people were actually taking notice about me, even though I was considered a “n00b” to NE. There is not much to the park: a B&M; launched coaster, a combo twin S&S; tower ride and a few other minor attractions. The park may not be much, but finishing something was a major accomplishment for me as a new-to-the-scene parkmaker, and it would prove to be quite the difficult task from there on out.

I really like the use of hedges in the architecture, and the atmosphere is awesome. Both of the screens are really good, and the variety in the architecture is great.
Lots of 1/4 tile scenery pieces there. Very good!

You took everything I had to say to heart.

I've finished building one of the park's two roller coasters: Landslide.
You start you journey from Linoma Village up Plattview Mountain and launch toward a element unique to this coaser: a dive loop suspended seventy feet in the air. You continue a downward spiral through a pitch-black tunnel up into a trademark Bolliger & Mabillard cobra roll. Flying through a few twists and turns and a banking helix, you hit Landslide's zero-gravity roll. More banked turns ensue before the intense finally: interlocking corkscrews. Landslide glides through a bunny-hop and into the brakes completing your journey through the backwoods of Platteview Mountain and the Linoma Woods Park.
The station house is now complete and I am 50% done treeing the mountain... below is a picture of the station.
Not much of an update but the park is around 50-65% complete. Also pictured to the right corner is the entrance and exit to the park's twist ride currently unnamed.

But the other two screens look great. I'd just lose the light on the bottom left side of the second screen, doesn't seem like it's in the greatest of location possible.

The colors in your architecture, though, are BEAUTIFUL. I love the styles and the sharp, bold impact of the buildings. They're lovely. Just plain lovely.
Wonderful job, John! These pics rock!

I like the buildings a lot, but i'm not keen on the trees...too many tall ones obscuring what's behind them. And that big fuzzy white tree is my least favourite of all.
Great Job

Okay, I took a few ideas and put them into practice. The fuzzy trees that mantis was referring to are now gone, the screenshot is cleaned up abit, "smaller trees" selection to make viewing things easier, etc. Ah, I just now noticed that the flowers were dead when I posted the screenshot... they bring more life to the paths and such... sorry about that. Also, with regards to the cacti, they are only around the center pieces and mixed with flower beds, they are not in the actual forest.
I absolutely love the bloodred, which is apparent.
Anyway, the last screenshot before I release the park (expected by/on/around Friday, depending on ma' school schedule) is of Landslide's cobra roll and a building infront of it... enjoy... not much to show though.
*Keep in mind this is a working shot and trees and various other things have been added and subtracted from the area. Also, the two-tone color of the ride represents rusted/old-looking or mud covered (hence the name) pieces of track where the mountain has cascaded down into the village... weak storyline I know... I'll get better I promise.

Part of me says the architecture is great, and part of me says It isn't...this is so damn confusing...lol
I guess I'll have to wait till the dl.
