Hey guys Heres another pretty useless Concept Coaster from me. Its never going to be practical in a park but i like playing with the game and seeing what i can make it do as you all know.
As always i got this idea while standing at work while thoughrally bored and thought id mess around (didnt really intend to release it but "hey what the heck") I took the "Pick a Track" coaster from PP's awesome Disney Dreams and made my own version. It has alot of holes im afraid but thought id share it anyway.
The ride has 3 seperate courses yet only 1 station. The ride takes a different track each time the train passes around the ride. took a bit of engineering to pull off but its all quite simple. (NOTE: Id advise not looking underground till after the trains run through a course or 2 as it gives the game away) The file should be attached to this post
Thoughts and Comments are greatly appriciated really
Problems - The vast hidden track needed - Not being able to run 2 trains - Long turnaround time (sorry about this one as its a pain in the arse)
Was this the one you showed me on aim? Whatever it is, it is really confusingly brilliant. I cannot imagine how long it must have taken you to do it. If its longer than it takes to watch, you are patient...
Very original concept. Its great, don't know how you did any of it.
hmmm it was done in a day. The coaster about 2 hours worth of work. The only hard bit was getting the timeing right on the underground track. the rest is pretty simple now i've got the idea sorted.
Finally got round to looking at some released parks!
This one's pretty funky - I was expecting the coaster to split into three when it got to the 'choice' part (which would have been awesome) but what it did do was still pretty funky. If only there were some way to have more trains all choosing different things all the time - that way it'd look like the people riding it really WERE choosing.
Roomie, you're crazy with your shoestrings - have you seen RRP's skatepark? I really need to learn how to make these things well

As much as I've tinkered with splitters in rct2 I have yet to try a shoestring, maybe I should .
