Meretrix used the right objects from WW that fit within the theme.
My favourite is Big Thunder Mountain. After seeing that I just want to ride it again.
Space Mountain rocked too. Good hack to make the launch.
This park is a must-see and I recommend to everyone who hasn't got WW, just to buy/download it only to see this park.

Great job, and sorry I couldn't view your park Meretrix.

Though I actually was unimpressed with much of the architecture, the thoughts behind the areas were amazing. The harbor, blew my mind away, and is my favorite section ever. The Sky Lab part near the entrance was also another favorite of mine.
Then a few of the little things i loved, like the mutant sea bass, and the collapassed reactor. And of course, the coasters were outstanding (thought the woodies supports were a little exsessive imo).
I loved the park, a top 10 for sure guys. Who did the harbor?
And meretrix, ww is installing now.....

Did you even look at the park? You have to go opposite of the entrance to really get the experience.

Tilted acres - im suprised i have not got any cradit for this park, part of this soptight is mine. for real this park would not be a soptlight without my paintabul rock wall used 34 times.
IMO this park sould not be a spotlight. its a noob park, anyone who has been to disney world alot, is good at RCT2, has WW objects (the good ones) could have done this. but its not a bad park its got some good idels and i did like the use of WW scenery, but please let this be the last WW spotlight.
Cataclysm - if the world ever does end it hope it gos down like this, i loved the hacking so much, like the smoke comeing out of the ground, the jet ski jump and that sandstorm 2 ride. this is by far one of the best park i have ever seen.

I however am not paying $20 or so to see DTA (Unless someone decides to be really nice and burn me a copy ). I dont care how good it is......... although from the screens it does look amoung the best of the best.
Kumba- n00bish is a little harsh. I mean, I probably couldnt do some (probably most) of the things in this park...... if that means anything. One to his own though.
Congrats anyway. To re-itterate what Slob asked, will Meretrix be made a Parkmaker?
Now on to Cataclysm, I am siding half with Turtleman. I would say that crowing this "the best park ever made" would be a bit much. The entire park was rather flat (even boring in places), and much of the architecture was rather dull. These two things combined make this park quite repetative in certain aspects, which makes it loose much appeal for me. On the other hand however, much of the park is the exact opposite of boring. Ed's work can be picked out very easily in all of this. Thats not to say BG's work wasnt good or anything, it was, but the amazingly innotave touches (The tram in the harbor section, the boat show, ect) was what saved this park.
Probably a solid top 20-30 for me. Plenty of detail, great effort, there is just those problems I mentioned before that hurt it.
QUESTION- I am not quite understanding this "Co-Spotlight" thing. Is it the same as a regular Spotlight, but realeased at the same time? Or are these just sort of parks that were too good not to make Spotlight, but not counted against the other entries (Like Troy)?

Basically, Tilted Acres was going to be the Spotlight. I decided that since I said that a WW park would never win spotlight, and lots of people wouldnt be able to enjoy DTA, I'd add another Spotlight so that everyone had something to look at.

-Harbor District
-Lab area with 'The River of Death and Decay' and the seabass (I'll see if I have a screen of the first version of that. It was horrible.)
-Tektonic Ridge
-Stadium and boat show and bumper boats
Everything else was made by BG including that awesome collapsed reactor with the smoke coming out of it. Oh yeah, and Posix made the custom flatride in the Harbor area. I thought all of BG's coasters were great especially Carnivore and Punishment Divine. That's why I didn't add any traditional coasters myself. I used Cacti in the harbor (!) which you'll never see me do again in an industrial themed area but I wanted it to blend in with the rest of the park. I think this is a fitting tribute to an older style of parkmaking and even though I don't think I'll ever go back to that old style of architecture, there's still something about it that I love. I don't know about best park ever, but I'm happy that people like the park that much. Congratulations to Meretrix as well. I really wish I could see that park. BG, you've got your spotlight. Now you can retire in style And Prince A, don't know if your park was a runner-up for this round or not, but awesome work on Waters of the Past as well. We'll all share some of the spotlight together.
And about these subtle 'someone needs to finish a park' remarks, all I can say is I'm trying. I really am.
PS: The logo is sweet.

As for Corky's comments about Time Twister. That won't be happening as I won't be purchasing, downloading etc. TT. I got screwed once (with WW). That will not happen again. Since I've gotten A Wacom Tablet, if I need cool scenery, I'll just make it myself.
Thanks again all!!!(Especially you Kumba. Couldn't have done it without ya! )
