Welcome to Hyatt's Camano Creek Golf Course! RCTNW Designs is proud to release the fourth map as part of Project: Aries.
Hyatt's Camano Creek Golf Course features 18 world class holes to challange even the most avid of golfers. This par 70 course featers 80 feet of elevation change along with several holes either crossing or along side Camano Creek. Prior to hitting the fairways, you'll want to practice at the driving range or putting green to perfect your swing.
As always, thank you for your feedback and for following along.
That was a really well done course, I would love to play there
I think 14-18 would make one of the toughest finishes of any course
Some nit-picky things though
-I don't think a resort that nice would put netting around the range like that, that's more of a roadside driving range type thing
-On the second hole in reality all three tee boxes were the same distance from the hole and I think the white tees are actually easier than the reds because they have more fairway in front of them
-I would of also liked to see some restaurant that but I might just be greedy
Overall very nice, I prefer this course to your Marriott one
Cena - Thanks. I thought about using the trucks during the construction however it didn't look close enough to golf cards for me. Glad you liked it though
Comet - Hole #2 is a but strange with the angle and I was going to get back to it but must have over looked it. As for the driving range, As for the driving range, if been so some nice cources where it was in place. Keep in mind this is a public course and your find the netting in most of them. As for the restaurant, there is one on the lower level next to the 18th green (look in the windows). Glad you liked the course. If you ever want to play another round, let me know and I'll take care of your green fees!
SSSammy - This is perhaps my favorite map with regards to terraforming as it seems to flow well from one side to the other. This is also the first map where I took time to work with foilage around the waters edge. I think it came out well. Thanks
A couple hours ago a friend and myself attended your golf course and I believe i lost my keys while we were playing. I don't know where i might have lost them so i'll try to retrace my steps..
When we first arrived we pulled in and parked then headed straight to the driving range to knock off some rust from not playing in so long. After hitting a buckets worth we continued inside where we purchased 18 holes, another bucket of balls (just in case), rented a golf cart and requested that one of your beer girls meets us at the tee off of every hole.
We finally got to the first tee and while I felt pretty confident about my first drive, my buddy wasn't as lucky. As we approached the second hole my keys fell out of my pocket and onto the ground. I distinctively remember picking them up and putting them in a pouch on my golf club bag and zipping it shut. Everything continued to go smoothly until hole 3. It seemed a little short for taking 6 swings and 3 puts, but oh well. Hole 4's uphill battle didnt help my stroke score and neither did the water!! By hole 5 we were starting to feel an early buzz from chugging bottle after bottle out of frustration. I hit the sand traps twice and over shot the hole causing my ball to roll down hill onto hole 13's green where i aparrently uspet an old man wearing a visor. I offered him a beer and he accepted. We finally made it back to where we were supposed to be and had a few holes of average shooting and finally made it through the front nine and stopped in at the clubhouse.
By this time we were gettin pretty buzzed but my friend decided we needed some good luck tequilla shots... plural! Well, hole 10 wasn't a good start to the back nine. At this point I had lost quite a few balls to the water. Hole 11, not much different. I did, however, miss the water this time but ended up in the trees. The next 3 holes were blurry but i do remember having golf cart races with my drunken counterpart. Only one of the carts belonged to us and they are both somewhere in the trees... or maybe water. But getting back on the subject... Hole 14 turned out to be quite nice, my only eagle of the day. I dont even want to talk about 15. Hole 16!! Are you kidding me?! Water, AGAIN!! By this time we were smashed drunk and i was irritated! So I went into the water to retrieve my ball. As hole 17 stared at me and laughed, I tried to keep my calm and concentrate on my drive. Needless to say the water won this battle and I had the bright idea to send my entire bag of golf clubs into the water since the balls liked it so much. With only a couple balls left in my pocket, we decided that we would just throw our balls as hard as we could down the fairway. We both actually made par.
It wasnt until we got back to the clubhouse when i realized i had misplaced my keys and my friend. So, if you or any of your staff come across a set of keys or a drunk guy named Steve please notify me right away. Thank you for all your help.
Marlin - LMAO - So you were the one(s). I heard that some NE clown was pretty buzzed however I thought it might have been TC or perhaps Kumba was off his meds again.... As for your keys, we did find them in the cart you left in the woods and your car is safely parked in the middle of our driving range! Still no sign of Steve though.
Luketh - Can't be any worse than my score. Remember, my golf and bowling scores are very close and I'm good at bowling1
I don't drink no mor--- *passes out on the keyboard* gggggggggggggggggggggg
ON TOPIC: Great stuff, I loved following the landscape and thought the waterfalls were done very well. Architecture was classic RCTNW which is never bad. Also great how you're using smaller objects in adding more detail, but don't get sucked too much into that trap. I like the ten parks a year I get from you.

One tip for a next golfcourse thing, hack a ride inthere with the 4x4 cars on it, then you have real golf carts on your golf court.
Maybe I give a longer review later in time.
