Although it's sad that this great site will close, it's one hell of a way to make your exit. I'm definitely going to download this park.

I've just spent a great deal of time looking at the overview and I really like this park, very charming. It has a certain appeal that made me want to continue exploring and I could definitely imagine myself in this park in real life.

It could have perhaps done with one or two more larger coasters but the layouts were very nice, the invert in particular was excellent and I loved the banked corner on the vert drop coaster and wish so much these elements were in LL.

Good job on this park. It was really fun to look at. I think one more coaster would've been perfect but all in all it's a nice silver park.

    Congratulations

I really liked this park, it has a great RCT feel to it and is not over the top with crazy themes and unnecessary hacks. Overall just a fun park to spend some time in. Perfect!

I love Bacchus' coaster, ivo's crazy ideas although it is not much, the oldtimers, the beaver dam (brilliant!), the soft colour scheme in my area, the Cost-a-Lot sign, the Belgian area, the drawbirdge and Speculoospasta.

    Congratulations to everyone who participated!

    (yay, 'my' 4th accolade!)

Way to go out on a high note guys...i really liked this park, every area was very nicely done, and it had a couple of great coasters.

PS-anyone know if benjamin is continuing his Alton Towers? He should over here.

PS2-how about we make a topic showcasing the best parks from rct guide, i.e. ben's alton towers? sounds like a good idea to honor our 'mates in Europe.

Wow I loved the invert! Each area was unique and brought something interesting to look at; the entire park was surprisingly enjoyable to explore! I loved it :)

Wow, my part of this park is very old, and ugly.
I have improved a lot from then..
    Nice job guys.

nice job finishing this and making everything come together well from area to area, as it is probably the hardest thing to do with collabos. sorry to hear about the site, i understand totally where you're coming from as running a site is very very difficult.

Great job on this guys! I'm happy to see it on the front page here.
I think it's quite an accomplishment, looking at all the different people with different styles. I really didn't expect something this good when the project first started :).

I can honestly say I like schoentje's area the best...

I'm proud of having participated and I'm glad it's finally finished! :)

the last pieces are always the toughest. the park went along very well at the beginning. but when the map got filled some places where left open. and in the end they are the most difficult to fill in.
personally I think we did a very good job cause all area's seem to be part of the park. there isn't a area which doesn't fit.

is there a possibility to change the shares or do we need to contact a admin for that?

never mind. found it already. I think the shares are better this way.

Woooow! (i just got back from holiday, that's why i post a little late..)

    But what a surprize!
before i say anything: Thanks RCTMASTA, i love you too :)
This project turned out great! i didn't expect NE would appreciate our work so much!
bacchus' and Dimi's area i adore the most with Liampes coaster and the space shuttle (Ivo, right?) as follow-ups.
silver is nice, although gold was just inches away! (reminds me of the worldcup :'))

    lots of love,
    schoen

  • Description

In 2006, the Dutch website RCT-Guide was founded on the ruins of SaveRCT2. For over four years, RCT-Guide has been one of the most succesful websites dedicated to RCT2. Sadly though, RCT-Guide has seen a decline of interest lately, thus the staff decided to take the site down on June 30th. RCT-Guide certainly won't be forgotten however, thanks to the NE's latest Silver, Spayculowse Gardens!

In early 2009 the idea to make a grouppark popped up. In several rounds, members were selected by the public in groups of six to build on the park. These members were Levis, Sulakke, schoentje, MCD, Dimi, Faas, ivo, GeertD, Ruben, Luigi, DHTSoldier, Liampie, Bacchus and Grabster, with RHCPepperfan and Marino leading the project. The result of this project is a park that at first glance looks like a collection of totally random areas, but actually it's a very nice summary of all that RCT-Guide stood for during its existence. From oldtimers like Levis and DHTSoldier to newer members like Faas and Grabster; from Ruben's extreme minimalism to Dimi's extensive theming; from traditional Dutch parkmaking like GeertD's entrance area to Bacchus' more NE-inspired B&M Inverted; Spayculowse Gardens has it all!

Thanks to its diversity Spayculowse Gardens offers something for everyone. Regardless of your taste, you're guaranteed to have fun with this. Especially for the former RCT-Guide members, who will consider this a souvenir too. The king is dead, long live the kin!
