yes, i know size matters. but with themes this immersive and detail this beautiful, i personally think its spotlight worthy.

Btw, overuse of "whilst" in the writeup ;P

i personally think size does matter, in the fact that if it was any bigger, i just wouldn't be able to take it all in. i bloody loved this. it just seems like so much passion was poured into the making of this park.

Why they voted the scores they voted ...
For me it seems that since it isn't 'realistic' enough the park didn't scored higher, I think that it shouldn't be about that ... I mean, you can't deny the skill FreeRider has. We could see that in his previous 2 releases and now we see it again. A score above 16 was more realistic I think.

If the score was over 16, I would even consider voting yes for spotlight, but I think in the end I would vote no. Some areas were really fantastic, but some other areas were less good IMO.
Freerider, this is so much better than your previous parks! If your next park is on the same level as the caste and the forest you have a good shot at spotlight. Gold is something to be proud of too, however. Congratulations, and thanks for sharing!
Keep submitting, Koreans!
But this is a fantasy park.

i want to stress that size does matter for spotlights. it's just no longer a requirement, because size, or "amount built" is not measurable in rct. thus it is a criterion now entirely in the heads of the panelists. like this, i would never give my panelist vote as "yes" for spotlight, if i see the candidate is too small and not at least comparable to the amount built you saw in old days spotlights.
my favourite spots about this park were the supports of the invert and the duellers around the custom tree. just very impressively done. i really do hope to see more and more rct1/2 from korean players because it's clear they have something special in their game that no one else seems capable of doing.
thank you for sending us this park, freerider.

What took the park down the most for me was the idea behind it all. I mean, when I judged the park it was called "F.R.'s Unnamed Park 7" and then when I opened the park half of the rides and shops indeed were unnamed ('Tilted Whirler', 'Vertical Drop Roller Coaster' for example) and the other half had cheesy names like 'wild adventures' or a misspelled 'rever rapids'.. It just didn't feel like a lot of effort was put into the concept.
Also, the pathing, the size and the quantity took it down.. What was there was nice, especially the brick area around the invert, but overall I thought there weren't enough nice areas to cover up the weak points to get a higher score from me..
It also looks weaker in-game than on the full scale aerial imo.. In-game it lags a lot which makes it hard to follow the coasters too.
Again, everyone is entitled to their own opinion. I just thought it was worth Silver..

That said, i thought this park was amazing. I'm not sure why the balloon is there but it looks great. And that tree... i can't imagine how many tries that took to get right.

Your style is really amazing and I hope to see more of you soon.

We've had parks like this before, with crazy, almost overbearing scenery with mediocre rides packed really close together, and the parks are always received well upon release and then their appeal generally lessens as evidenced by the fact that more people tend to a realistic style, as real parks are what inspired this game in the first place and will continue to be the sustaining force for it as long as people play RCT. People would start calling the fantasy parks "gimmick" parks, and while I don't agree with that misnomer, I think those people were more discouraged with how the community took an instant liking to those parks. Just because one of these outliers comes by every now and then doesn't mean that the raters have to grant it an automatic spotlight.
It was a fun park that got me a little nostalgic, but I think it got the rating it deserved.

but regardless, this is an absolutely incredible park

The entrance area of the park I thought was a bit bland lacking interesting foliage or real exiting architecture. Also the coaster was a bit random as was the name, Vertical drop rollercoaster. It didn't even feature a vertical drop.
I liked the wonderland/safari type ride, it strangely reminded me of 5Dave's Hoogland park though this was definatly something else.
The junior coaster/ wooden wild mouse coaster section was verry interesting although it featered too much brown for my liking, the junior coaster had a funny name and an interesting layout. Nicely incorperated in the building.
The Dueler was really one of the stars of the park although it gave massive lag to my pc ( because my computer is too old XD ) I really liked the design especially the section around the tree which was also verry awesome. I also liked the helixes part of the coaster, i found that verry interesting. About the spinning wild mouse I thought it was too random i didn't really like the layout.
The Castle section with the invert was my favorite part of the park. I really liked the architecture en the coaster had an verry interesting layout, that cobra roll over the path with the support who were genius in my opinion. And although the inline twist was paced a litle too fast, I really enjoyed the invert.
But what I really liked about the park were the many creative idea's and the use of some custom scenery which is never used normally, but in this park it just seemed right. The atmosphere was really great too, the peeps just seem to have a good time at the park.
So congratz with the gold Freerider and I hope to see more submission's from you.

Sorry, but with two year old layouts and scenery being out of place (let alone unsupported) it just took me out of it. Completely.
The only thing that amazes me about this park is that everyone is amazed by it. And I love when Phatage leaves me with nothing else to say
