Are we allowed to post screens?
Also I think there should be a list of who is entering each month. What if one month there'd be 5Dave and Geewhzz and the next month only newcomers. That would suck as the money wouldn't be given away fairly I'd say. But on the other hand I just thought while I was typing how would newcomers win money if there would atleast be one amazing player each month...hmm tough decision.
Turbin3 - Great, in fact if you do I can add it to the workbench section of the site I hope to add in the next day or so. I also will make a sort tutorial on how to use ParkDat and add it there. I get so many questions about that.
SSSammy - Yes, just not in the same month. So you could enter this month and then judge next month (even if you don't win).
Fisch - Yes, you can post as many screens as you want. I posted three, but never mentioned what I was making. While I like that approach you guys can say the screen is from your Monthly Micro entry. I will not make people declare that they are going to enter. You can say so if you want people to know you will be in it a certain month. I am still undecided if I will list the names of people who have submitted entries each month. I really think you should just try your best no matter what, so im leaning towards not listing entrants. In that case yes, a superstar like Dave, Levis or J K could come from no where.
Liampie - I am not sure what you mean?
Splitvision - Yes that's fine. I did that a little on my own micro. It can be any shape as long as no more then 400 RCT tiles are used and blank space objects do not count towards that. Also you can build as high as you want and if you do that you might want to build in the center of a large map. I will not be that strict or picking on anyone for using an extra tile, building walls off the edge stuff like that. You'll only get DQ'ed if you really over do it. If your on the edge of a DQ I might ask you if you can edit the map, or if I can do it myself.
Thanks for the questions, keep em coming and I will answer them as best I can.
Also maybe gee or posix can move this to the discussion forum. I did not have the heart to post it there on Ed's
seems like a solidly planned contest. Best of luck to contest staff and participants alike; if I can manage to finish anything within a month at any point in time I might enter.
I am in. I need to do this to prevent you from receiving cash!
In all seriousness though, what are the rules regarding benches? Can I just get started right away on a map black-tiled down to 20x20, or must I wait for an official bench?
I used to have some mini benches, but that was many reformats ago.
Fixed some site errors and added Turbin3's workbench. Have a name for it or should I just call it Workbench?
Also a LL bench would be REALLY helpful if someone can make a 20x20 with it, I cant.
Oh and for our westcoast parkmakers I made the deadline PST (I believe that's EST+3 and GMT+8.) at 11:59 p.m. February the 25th. All deadlines will be 3 days before the end of the month since I hope to have them up on the last day.

I don't expect to enter, though.
