Welcome to Hyatt's Palm Tower Resort! RCTNW Designs is proud to release the sixth map as part of Project: Aries For those of you in the US, you might be familiar with a show called "Build it Bigger" (go figure I would be interested in this show!) In a recent episode, they featured a new resort casino being built in Singapore called Marina Bay Sands. The massive complex features not only a great hotel but also a Convention Center, Casino and Amphitheater to name a few. However, what really drew me to this though was the Sky Park located atop the three towers and not just above the actual towers but spanning across all three towers. This was just screaming at me to build this in RCT2. Thus Hyatt's Palm Tower Resort was born.
Hyatt's Palm Tower Resort features three 40 story towers with over 1,700 rooms, eight elevators and one "Sky Deck" that towers over the ground at 555 Feet!
As always, thank you for your feedback and for following along.
As much as I dislike the angled parts of the hotel, I still think it all comes together nicely. It's a great work as always, as we've come to expect from you.
np James, I was glad to help and had been meaning to try that type of object.
This thing was mind-boggling... biggest hotel since... V-Key last week
Okay well this and all your others are bigger and sport much better architecture. Also your creativeness is clearly expanding as seen on the awesome sky-park. That roof was sweet. I loved how the ends hang over a little. Also the sides jetting out with the balconies and semi random flowers was a really impressive structure.
Wow, I think this is your best hotel to date James!
I really liked those flowers on the hotel, they keep it fresh..
One thing I noticed though is that there are only 2 roads going to the hotel parking, while there could've/should've been more.. Was there a reason for that?
James, if you go to one of the discovery networks web sites (I don't remember which channel I saw it on), they did an episode of Can It Be Built? on this. May want to check it out.
Dark_Horse - Are you referrring to my version or the picture Roomie posted? If it was mine, it was from show called

SF - Thanks and I was wondering if someone was going to notice that. In short, I goofed up once again. I hate having the monorail track change in elevation in RCT as its too abrupt of a change and I also don't like the roads changing in elevation. Thus I was limited to having the center portion as the only way in and out. Glad you likjed it though
James, the speed and quality of which these structures are built is simply mind blowing. I really enjoyed looking through this one. You are really starting to branch off from the traditional big hotel style (big tall blocky or cylindrical building) but I would love to see what you would interpret into RCT2 with the sort of structure Roomie posted.

Not quite my favorite so far but not far off.
Thanks for showing us the inspiration too. That building just looks insane.
