Or...you could just go on most everyone's word that the park wasn't good enough to spend this much time opening it (cause that does seem to be a complaint). Anyway, Segaman, hope that helps....and glad to see you back here. I think the last time you posted was right before I released DTA. You know...that other park of mine that was easy to open.

From the screens it looks like it's worth it to me... we'll see I guess. I'll give a full report even though it's been a little while since it's been out. I'm behind the times it seems.
UPDATE:
Seems like it's still not working even though I downloaded all the rides listed. Hmm... I'm missing SediBe something or other. Is this a WW park or a regular RCT 2 park? That could be my problem... that would be stupid of me wouldn't it?

First off, let me just say that Phantasia is an incredible piece of work. I thorougly enjoyed viewing the park and had an even funner time playing with my new Sorcerer's Hat.
'Trix, your architecture is amazing. You can capture a certain architectural feel with near perfection and even keep the flow going until you choose to end it. Your colors aren't repetitive, nor do they clash. They are just right.
I loved the originality of some of the rides. IJ and the Forbidden City (cool name ), Lucifer's Mouse Hunt, and the Halloween Town rides. All had names that tells the guest what the ride is about (except Lock, Shock, and Barrel...wtf is that about?).
I'll start off with Walt's Platz. Awesome work, man. Great architecture and you kept it all so low which makes it even more intimate. However, I felt that the area was far too wide. It seemed like you tried to make the area a space whore while trying to keep the intimate feeling of Main Street. If you had placed more tall trees in this area to break up the paths, it wouldn't have been a problem, but unfortuantely, this wasn't so. I also didn't like how the station for the Main Street Vehicles was in plain site and so high up. Disney always tries to hide things like this. I'm sure you know this but I'll point it out anyway, but at the Magic Kingdom, Main Street Vehicles are housed in a car barn when not being used. Personally I would have taken this approach rather than the one you took.
Second is Adventure Isle. Question: What is a western area doing in a place called "Adventure Isle"? I felt that you tried to cram too many themes and too many ideas into this one area, and the usual flow you have just didn't happen here. I also didn't like how the Tarzan coaster just seemed to be there. Every Disney ride has a story of some kind and this coaster just flew through the trees and right back into it's station. Other than that, the Agrabah section kicked ass (I'm guess Abracadabra is from "Aladdin" where the Genie is singing?) and I loved the Hook show area. Great idea there.
Dark Majesty Kingdom is near perfection. It was a little disorganized, but the layout worked well. Also, the area could have used some more trees such as pines and firs, especially those reminescent(sp?) of German forests. As for Bald Mountain, I felt it's lack of any definable color other than black greatly hurt it. I would have accented it with some lighter colors (maybe grey, browns, or even white) to give it more of a definate shape. It was just TOO dark. I thought Lucifer's Mouse Hunt and Snow White's Scary Forest were pretty cool as well, very nice facades.
Discovery Bay was nice. It had that quaint feeling that you would expect from a place with "Bay" in the title. The only thing I didn't like here was that something felt like it was missing. Ah I know what it is.... a centerpiece. Adventure Isle has IJ and the Forbidden City, Dark Majesty Kingdom has Bald Mountain, Walt's Platz has the Castle (I know it's technically in DMK, but it looks best from WP), but what does Discovery Bay have? Since you were sticking with the Jules Verne and H.G. Wells themes, maybe a ride themed to The Time Machine would have worked. Heck even an Orbitron/Astro Orbiter clone would have been good. Just something for the guests to keep an eye on when in that area.
My final thought is that I believe you brought too many existing rides into the park. Dumbo, Magic Carpets, Snow White, etc. I know from experience that coming up with new Disney rides is incredibly difficult but with some of the ideas you put out in this park I felt that you could have made some true Disney classics.
Great job overall. I can't wait to see PhantaSEA Kingdom in 3D!
