GAH. ANYWAY. So yes. I don't have pkcroof.dat i'm afraid...maybe some scenery peeps can help you out. I've been trying to track down a ride, whcih I think might be on the bonanza site but i've been d/ling and nothing's been working and i'm losing patience. Also, it seems i'm missing some scenery from the game that isn't exporting properly or something - mpathbrwn.dat? I dunno. It's weird.
I'm wondering if it's even worth the effort.

Mum's getting a new job though so hopefully she'll think about getting a new computer as she'll have to do more work at home on the computer too.
At least your rct2 kinda works.
Hopefully all the rct2 guys can help us and all the others out.

I found out about that "bogus game" meretrix was talking about. The first time I downloaded the park I never got it, so I didn't know what the hell he was talking about. All I had to do was download the park again.
So, those of you having trouble with scenery, see if you have the "bogus game" file. If not, try downloading the park again. If you got it, open it. You'll then have all of the scenery needed, like Meretrix said. Thats what I did. I hope that made sense....
The park, on the other hand was nice, but it never amazed me. The architecture was solid and had great facades which set a nice disney atmosphere. The one thing I didn't like was the landscaping. Thats what ruined the feel for me. The jagged rocks were way to random in most places and looked very rushed. But overall, great park Meretrix.

I actually liked. It may not be as good as DTA but it still had the Disney feel to it. The facades were wonderful, but the landscaping wasn't the best. Great job Meretrix. Definately deserves Spotlight IMO.

And nate....you can write your actual thoughts, as what you wrote in your post sounded really condescending and bitchy. If you didn't like the park for landscaping reasons, give examples. If you didn't like it for other reasons, give examples. What you wrote sounded more like an admonition ("You really need to work on it. I mean it.".....erm....OK)
Toon, I am sorry you found it disappointing. Even more, I am confused at how the park looks rushed. Oh well, again...can't please everyone.

Well, after finally getting the park to work, I thought it was okay. The standout aspects were the architecture, which was absolutly stunning and the castle (Best RCT Disney center piece yet). And the things I didn't like, the number of useless and really ugly custom rides and scenary. Really Meretix, some of those rides are just sooo ugly, why you downloaded them I'll never know. I couldn't helping thinking to myself "get some taste." The rides were uninspiring, esspecially the E-Ticket Disney attractions such as your Indiana Jones ride, Tarzan, Bald Mountain to name a few. Speaking of Bald Mountain, excuse me when I say, "Worst Landscaping Ever" (By "ever," I don't just mean of spotlights, I mean of all the hundreds of parks that I've seen, that is the worst). That's another thing that dragged the park down, the landscaping was disastorus. The poor tree selection and placement didn't help things either. As for my favorite area, "Main Street U.S.A.", without a doubt, and "Discovery Bay" was a distant second (some of the buildings were too large and overpowering). Yet, with all it's faults, as I said, I thought it was okay. You did accomplish the Disney atmosphere, the most difficult part of a Disney park, and that is probably what made me stamp the park with the "okay" label. It was dissapointing, to say the least, but if you work on your rides, landscaping and tree placement/selection, I'm sure you'll make a wonderful park in the near future.
And about the previous post, I wasn't trying to sound like that, so I appologize. Personally I thought it was much nicer than the above.

As for Bald Mountain, I have to stand my ground here, and ask everyone....did you see the movie....big black mountain on fire....end of story. An experiment....personally I think it would've been cool to ride, but whatever.
Other comments, taken in, appreciated. It just comes down to a matter of personal aesthetics I guess.
Thanks for responding.

Anyway, you say that your retiring (again) because you cannot top this, when really it is that maybe you've maxed out on your disney style. You should try something different, I've always though that the Twilight Shores or whatever it was called screens looked better than Phantasia.
