Description
When NE’s Pro Tour was announced, I was ecstatic to find out architecture would be included in the qualifying rounds. And after 10 days of grueling construction, the Imperial Riyadh Resort was complete and sent in. A few days later it was announced the winner of the first qualifying round in the Pro Tour. This was by far my largest piece of architecture and the most time consuming, too. Luckily, it edged by to gain me a coveted spot in the New Element Pro Tour.

Wow, I feel like I won because more of mine was covered, lol. (I managed to pull out the RCT2 CD!) Sorry, I admit that my ride was pretty lifeless but I was more interested in the rooves and buildings than the ride. Just pretend theres a whole bunch of special effects and stuff. I guess this just means that I don't need to continue work on my other entries. Good luck steve.

OR it could be because you put all the updates in ONE thread and never have any new ones, so people forget.

the reason why "somthing" was missing, was because, in all honesty, i didnt want to finish it. and i wouldnt have entered it if it wasnt for nemesis chris who told me to...but i guess u guys liked it, so thats somthing...
congrats gir, but i still cant really picture a dark ride in rct1...it seems kinda hard to do...o well...

We're up to week 10.
Thats 10 weeks to get something done by now, so don't even try and give me that kind of shit.

Listen, no one was being rude in posting, so you have no need to be coming back with a response cussing at me. People are busy in school. People are busy in life. Some people that play this game aren't seventh graders with tons of free time. You've got high school students, college students, jr high students, and adults. You can't just expect them to drop what they are doing to enter a contest at some website. I know it sucks not getting entries, same thing happens at my website all the time. However, you need to realize that people aren't going to usually plan ahead 10 weeks and stick to that plan. Most people don't operate that way, but some do, and apparently, by the way you are posting, you are one of those types.
I know I can't plan ahead 10 weeks. Maybe 3 or 4, but 10? That's asking a lot of people.
No one is saying that ALL of those on your list were busy with school or other engagements, but assuming that they've had plenty of time to work when some actually haven't is just plain wrong.
So quit yelling at me and put yourself in their shoes.

How about stop feeling so damn sorry for yourself?
I have to update NE on a regular basis which is even more work then playing RCT.
I have to find ways to get the shit done regardless of what else there is in my life, and guess what? I still find ways to do it.
Asking to plan weeks in advance is wrong?
lmao
Well thank for you taking the initiative and speaking for an entire community, and forgive me if I'm wrong...but who's fault is it if you're incapable of planning far in advance? Maybe if you did so, your parks wouldn't all look rushed and repetitive. Just a little tip for you, that you should probably take advantage of.

I wasn't really trying to speak for the whole community, although I can see why you'd think so. Lemme try and word it differently.
A lot of people have more important things to do than make plans for a computer game contest. This is a great site, no denying that, but updates here are not exactly required every day like they are at other types of sites. There is tons of work done behind the scenes here that is top quality, no denying that, but then again, what other webmaster doesn't have to do that kind of work, no matter what the work is?
What I'm really trying to say is that comparing your life to that of other people who you really don't know outside of the internet isn't fair to them. You may be able to manage your time better than others, but that doesn't give you the right to pull them down for not having that same skill.
Now, to address the immaturity found in your post.
I'm not feeling sorry for myself. I hope to get 1 more entry in, that is, unless the judging isn't biased due to your lack of respect for me.
You remind me of the bullies that I had to deal with before I just gave up trying to change their minds about me. Put downs that come out of no where, and for what? To make yourself seem better than them? What the hell does my parkmaking have to do with a comment I'm making.
I wasn't rude in any of my posts aside from the sarcasm I displayed after you telling me my opinion is wrong. I really don't care what you think of me or my opinions, but if you own a message board, be prepared to hear them. It isn't as if I'm cussing at you non-stop about everything you say. I have to say, I think I was quite polite in my initial post.
You think what you like about me, but I've come to not care what bullies have to say.
