  I was inspired to build this after seeing some work by tracidEdge

  I'm touched.
  
  I liked it, especially the first half of the ride. I loved its interaction with the surroundings. Also great job on the snow theme, they're hard. God knows I've tried that shit and failed miserably. But congrats on you, you did a good job. You've definitely improved, and I'm looking forward to whatever else you have in store.
  
  Also yeah quit naming shit something that starts with an s.

  Synopsis:
  1. a brief or condensed statement giving a general view of some subject.
  2. a compendium of heads or short paragraphs giving a view of the whole.
  3. a brief summary of the plot of a novel, motion picture, play, etc.
  
  I'm probably missing something, but I don't get it...
  
  Ride looks fantastic though. Congrats on the design. Forgot to bring LL to school so I'm not going to get a chance to look at this, but from the overview, it looks like you tackled the snow theme very well, and the terrain and path interaction is sick. Great stuff.

  I thought the layout was a bit poor. The first half was indeed fantastic, but 3 inline twists? Hmm...
  
  My favourite bit was the observatory and coaster station: Wonderful architecture, there. Great theming idea with the ice field as well.

  thanks, guys. i admit, the layout was a bit off, but it was kept like that for a balance of interest and pacing.

  Here's what I said before:
  

  Is it just me, or was the first half the same as the second half (minus the lift and one barrel roll, and marking the midpoint of the loop as the middle)?
  
  Anyways, I rather liked it.

  BTW, what's up with the name? Was this based on a book or something? Before opening it, I wanted it to be bad just so that I could be snooty and say, "Synopsis - Sucky"

  As you probably know by now, the Drexler patch isn't working for me, so I can't view this, but it looks fantastic. The name, however, is wretched. I thought so when I first saw the name, but Mr. Burns beat me to the punch. It's not that it begins with, "S," it's that Synopsis means summary. I understand where you got the idea for the name, it sounds kind of "ice base-ish" sure but it's not.
  
  Anyways, I thoroughly enjoyed looking at the full-size picture, which, by the way, is a great invetion.

  just because i'd prefer most of the comments NOT to be about the name, Synopsis was chosen because the original concept was that the coaster was going to tell a story as it went along. obviously, that did not happen. i kept the name though, just because i thought it sounded cool.
