The park is a litt haphazard, far too much going on and it is realllllly slow in game for me
You were trying to cram too much in to such a small space.

i with the above, this park could have been super epic. the concept was awesome and from what is there, could have been pulled off very well. i had to put raining blood on after looking at the park. my favorite thing in the whole park by far was the slayer sign on Hell Awaits. that thing was awesome. it looked to perfect especially ontop of the coaster. i kept coming back to just look at that sign. the testament sign was also very well done. the coasters were abit weird for me. either they were over the top, or they ust wernt exciting. i liked Hell Awaiting and the FUEL coasters the best. alot of really cool ideas and some good layout, but the problem was that some layouts couldnt stand amazingly on their own, and without theming, they kinda fell short. but that is to be expected from an unfinished entry. alot of you archy had some really awesome details and looked really great. my problem was there seemed to be these areas where you didnt know what to put inbetween the top and bottom of the building, or the left and right, and thus just sorta threw something inbetween to fill the space. congrats again, i liked what you had and i think this had the means to be awesome.

I'm not sure I agree with this placing over a finished park, though.

I hope this isnt a rhetorical question over the unfinishedness...because I didnt become a parkmaker until March and wasnt officially entered into the contest until May, yet did more than 90% of those who qualified.
Anyway, I expected to end up here, I wanted to get something in at least and still hope to finish this if the inspiration comes back to me. If your willing to help me, then just ask. I almost feel the same as MA in that my unfinished park might not deserve to be ahead of a finished park, but apparently what was there was better. And that is definately a badass logo.

But in all seriousness this entry definitely shows potential like no one's business. All three of the band signs (Slayer, Testament, Metallica) were amazing feats that looked absolutely picture perfect. Concept bits like the Master of Puppets flipping thing and the rockin' tug were well done.
I also really liked duel guitar solo II in that the two rides seemed to "feel each-other out" for the first half of their layout before going nuts right until the end, very much like real guitar solos, duel or not. Fuel was very interesting as well, if not that visually stunning.
Shame about the level of completion, and the coaster layouts were rather hit or miss with me (Hell Awaiting, Fuel, Duel Guitar II = hits, the rest missing the mark)... I realize with complete theming the flaws in the layouts would've seemed more quirky than disappointing and probably contributed well to the original feel of the park, but that doesn't mean it's not area you shouldn't spend a bit more time on.
But overall, the architecture/trackitecture mix, eccentric color schemes, and the music theme gave the park an almost "mantis of rct2" feel and there are few higher complements I can give than that.

I like the Roller Coasters and quite a few scenarios (which were very few).
I do not want to be arrogant, but I think that my theme park is better.
A theme park not only Roller Coaster ...
But now I will not discuss it because I said that to me is the most important part and I know Camcorder is a great player and will show many high-quality projects.
I see Metal Masters complete.

I agree completely with this.
And, about this beating X_Fusion's completed "New Sun Park," I'd say that's fair. Complete or not, Cam's park had a huge amount of work into it already. I probably spent almost a half an hour looking around the park, just at the unfinished rides and coasters. New Sun was a very solid park, no doubt, but it just didn't hold my attention the same as Metal Masters did.

I thought that Metal Masters, although executed very well, was very cluttered, and it seemed rushed. It was hard to focus on different elements of the park because everything was so chaotic. Whether that was intentional or not, it distinguished itself from New Sun, which seemed very well thought out. Metal Masters, on the other hand, didn't seem to have a comprehinsible layout and was rather confusing.
No offense to Cam, I just thought that New Sun would've been better suited to a 6th place finish.

There is a problem in competitions from New Element and the two one:
Or tolerate incomplete projects (and they are increasingly) and every day we leave that to have beauty in other times of major projects for Theme Parks and Roller Coasters
Or beginning to reject or severely penalize the unfinished projects to compel the companies to apply and to maintain a good level of care.
Giving good rating and let it come as incomplete projects is encouraging that most players show theme parks and Roller Coaster unfinished and lower the standard requirement of certain competitions and beauty of New Element.

there's not much i can say that hasn't been said already. But yeah it was a nice idea which shows alot of potential.
As others have said the coasters are a bit hit and miss. i like the guitar solo duellers but a few others weren't to my taste.
Still a solid go
