4)Flogging Molly-yeah kinda gets out of the whole "heavy metal" theme im goin here, but punk and irish go together like lamb and tunafish (dropkick murphys rule too)
5)Sevendust-there so consistent, and heavy, and like SOAD kinda.

Im goin to also make a worst list liek Andrew

1) Simple Plan- THEY SUCK...THEYRE NOT PUNK...THEYR MODERN MTV PUNK
2) Good Charlotte- "              "
3) Creed- They can be cool, but theyre over-played..i fuckin hear it at the arcade at my mall
4) Blink 182- Theyre funny, but ive heard better punk
5) Coldplay- for being a good MTV band, they sure suck.....i know there a band, but they sing so FUCKIN SLOW

You have some good bands in your list.

The thing i don't get is your worst list. While I agree with the coldplay opinion the rest doesn't make sense. You say creed is cool so why put them in a worst list. this is not the overplayed list. and the punk bands are all the same. I think those bands are talented but not anything special. I guess i don't know what you are talking baout when you say MTV punk

Andrew and Qotsa- thank you for proving one point. No one in this world is the same.

Qotsa-I will have to admit that out of your list I don't know all of the bands but am willing value your Opinion, and give them a try. (as you can tell I like a lot of different types of rock music).

Tool and sublime kick major ass and are honorable mentions to add to my list. As for radiohead I know that I know some of their stuff but I can't think of it off the top of my head.

could you please point give me some of the best titles of the groups in your list so that I can check them out. Thanks

As for you andrew- I feel our lists have some groups that are similar. As for being really close maybe not but similar. I like all those bands and have Cds from them. I do not trash your music so I ask that you don't trash others. I don't really care but it just makes you like an ass to say that all that music sucks because it really doesn't. Its all just an opinion. I like them for certain reasons just like you like BNl and Hootie.

I know I'm gonna get some flack for my number but hey I am stickin with my favorite band

1. Creed- Awesome message and Tremonti is one of the best guitarists. He is so much better on his own. and I will admit stapp comes off as an arrogant ass. any way (favorites: Wash away those years, what if, whats this life for, faceless man, bullets, freedom fighter, my own prison)
2. Trapt (basically all of their stuff but These Walls is my fav.)
3. Evanescence (all of it Tourniquet is my favorite)
4. Chevelle (Send the pain below, the red, comfortable liar, mia)
5. System of a Down/12stones (all of it)

Mark Tremonti. that guy is very talented. Creed holds him back. I have heard some of his shredding abilities and he can play all sorts of music. I wouldn't be surprised to see him star a band of his own as a side project.

Troy Stetina. This guy is very talented. He plays a lot of metal style but is mostly a teacher. His books are very good for all oyu guitarists out there who are interested.

Van Halen, John Mildrum, Dave Matthews, Cantrell, and the list goes on.....
