Yeah, I had to log in and give some praise here...
Riverside is easily one of the best parks I've ever seen. It is spot on on about everything on all scale levels. That is soo rare. From each angle I constantly find new things to like. Not only that, but the theme and execution of it is stellar.
What surprises me the most atm with a lot of parks lately is that they have either new fresh thematics or that they have themes that are executed in such a matured fashion. Although a lot of this is made possible by the awesome developers of OpenRCT2 it is the creators that keep surprising me (and believe me; I'm not exactly easily impressed). Only downside to this it demotivates myself to play again as it would be so hard too catch up to the current level of display xD. Ah well

Not bad
That said it might not be very obvious in the cartoon itself, but Spongebob has a very loooong nose.

I like it, but I would go for different coaster cars. Maybe the El Loco cars would be better?

I will be waiting for the better NCSO version
But seriously, it is good stuff and I agree with the others; rough it up a bit at places if you want to complete that 'outdoors' feel.

Thanks for the kind comments all (both here and on discord).
Not a lot of fiesta yet other than the flowers on the lifthill (nice!!), but I trust you with the concept. Great little scene!
Well the fiësta part will be spread through the zone and I'm still busy trying to develop that theme further.
It looks very cool, not sure about the name though..
Yeah I might have expected that as a comment (though I didn't realize we also had Mexican members ). I think a little context is needed though. When I started with the area its theme was more a of generic wildwest zone, with the mine train basically being a mine train. The rides were good, but the theming felt too bland and didn't come together for me. When I built a small mexican zone to diversify I was thinking about two other games: Rayman Legends and Guacamelee, which brought me to incorperate the Dia de los Muertos into the theming (a thematic I personally like a lot not just for artistic purposes, but also because I've had to deal with death a lot the last few years and appreciate for what it represents). As such I also changed the naming towards Spanish. Garganta Infiërno has a double meaning/translations (if google is to believed). The first one is Gorge of Hell/ Hell Gorge, which in the themetic refers to the scorching lands and smoking mines (due to volcanic activity) which is the environment I've partly themed the coaster around. So essentially it's the nickname of this fictional region. The second translations is the throat of hell, which once again can also refer to the region, but also to a fictional brand of Mexico's most famous drink. Hence the barrels in screen. So I imagine the coaster in a setting of smuggling tequila through the smoking caverns and landscape. This part on the screen is actually an extension of the original layout and at the start of the coaster.
Okay that was a longer explanation than I was going to give, but in general its a big part of what I do here as ][ntamin22 noted: storytelling.
Actually from all the comments I got here and on Discord one thing stands out from what I'm trying to achieve: conveying the narrative with both the atmosphere as well as the with small details that make it up.
