The scan isn't gonna scan anything since you didnt add anything to the scenery group. The browse just changes the default to directory to look for scenery objects in so they can be viewed.
So one could skip that browse step i persume? (and find the directory for yourself. every time.)
However, thanks a lot, now it kinda worked but look for yourself:
it seems like the objects I want in that group should be saved where they were when you edited your group, which could be troubling when giving your group to others? And how to make your objects appear just once in your palette?

I'm not sure what the difference is between openrct2/data/object and openrct2/object, its been a while, I would try opening documents/OpenRCT2/object. don't bother copying
nice, thx!
But it seems I could browse any object folder I want with that proggy, it won't scan anything.
Its not like there would happen to be a new progam to create custom groups? :DD
thx dude

What I do, is I copy all the objects from the openrct2 folder and move them into the objData folder. Then I open that folder. When you save the group, it will save as a .dat file which can then be viewed in the object importer in openrct2.
You can put the .dat file in the objdata folder.
I don't get it.
I am too using openrct2, and I remember having installed:
-rct2 via steam, so "ObjData" Folder is
C:\Programs (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Rollercoaster Tycoon 2\ObjData
-openrct2, with a folder called "object" located in
C:\Programs\Openrct2\data\object
with subfolders called "official", "rct1", "rct2", "rct2tt" and "rct2ww",
-another openrct2 folder called "object" too located in
C:\User\PC\documents\OpenRCT2\object
So what do I have to copy where and where do I find that
object importer
?
I downloaded datmaker too, but your tutorial link won't work so I am boned.
