If there would be a mod made, it indeed wouldn't be a good idea to build in features that impede the use of our imagination and creativity. I am aware of that danger.
What features would be useful?
- Maybe all the features of 8 Cars per Trainer?
- 'Unlimited scenery-use'?
- Any other idea's?

I think that such a mod wouldn't do any harm to the community.

If this community is able to provide itself with a decent and attractive website, it might be able to develop a minor mod. Maybe it's just matter of collecting and organising ideas and finding programmers.

Where there's a will there's a way.
A poll could find out whether there's a will.

The errors caused by opening files right now are more confusing than the opportunity to download a mod which fixes all problems. No confusing objdata and so on...
