Custom Scenery Exchange / nicman's Object Library

  • nicman%s's Photo

Welcome to my object library. Here I will post all of my custom objects that can be downloaded below. I have a few ideas on my mind, so make sure to follow this topic so you are notified of new objects.

Also if you have any requests, please post a comment.

    1. Diagonal B&M Steel Support-Horizontal-Connector

I have seen some parks such as Bush Gardens Asia, that could have used this object and I needed it for my park, so I decided to put in a little effort and make it.

    2. 1/4 Roof (Shingles, Shaded) -cjk

If you have ever used this pattern made by cjk, you will find out that he never made a 1/4 size of it, so I decided to make it.

You can download it here----->Attached File  NH-SH-RF.dat (2.12KB)

    3. The third object is simply a time saving support. Its 1/4 size with 4 clearance.

    4. The fourth object is a colorable 1k control box with different positioning to allow it to be placed in areas were the original one was not able to.

As you can see in the picture below the object is able to be placed on that deco block with correct positioning unlike pic 2 with the original control box.

    5. (fixed) I made a 4x height of the custom base magnus very similar to the Six Frags Pole, except this one is compatible with the regular custom base. The reason why I created this object is to save time when I make supports out of the custom base magnus object.

    12. This is a hydraulic launch piece, as was originally intended to be implemented into openrct2, but since most people prefered a LIM one, I decided to turn this into a scenery object.

NOTE: If you want to view my other LIM sprites such as the giga ones http://www.nedesigns...dragon-project/, check out the booster sprites in openrct2.

The second one looks kinda weird from the thumb. What does it look like when you turn it into a complete roof, in combination with other objects?

  • nicman%s's Photo

Here is were the object was used: It works well when using the same pattern as the other cjk roofs.

I just updated the objects, i fixed the pixels on the roof, and fixed the positioning and clearance for both objects.

So now there are two versions with the same DAT-name floating around?

  • X7123M3-256%s's Photo
I prefer not to change the DAT name - if you're careful to also leave the checksum unchanged, it can be advantageous because it makes the two objects interchangeable, so people don't need to keep the old one around just to open parks that use it.

So now there are two versions with the same DAT-name floating around?

There was only a few downloads I believe, but anyway, when you install it, it should just overwrite the existing object.

  • imlegos%s's Photo

    Yup, definitely a "Maxbox" case

  • nicman%s's Photo

Just added a few more objects, hope you enjoy them!

Cool stuff.  Always nice to have optimization-type objects in this era of scenery limit being a regular concern.

    You mean the object limit?

If so, I still don't understand how they would save objects.

  • imlegos%s's Photo

1 object that takes up the map data of 4.

Not the selection limit, the placed limit.

So you could pretty much create an entire object of a custom building or something to save space. ;)

  • X7123M3-256%s's Photo

If it's more than a tile it uses up 1 map element per tile occupied. But otherwise, yes you can, there are several buildings in the vanilla game.

Would you be open to making less steek b&m supports?

Would you be open to making less steek b&m supports?

    You mean less steep?

  • BelgianGuy%s's Photo
    Yeah, sery... autocorrect
  • nicman%s's Photo

    Yeah, sery... autocorrect

How much less steep? I could try to make them, but Ive never draw my own sprites before from scratch though, I only have modified existing objects. But the pattern for supports seems pretty basic so maybe I could give it a try.

  • BelgianGuy%s's Photo
Right it's only very steep or horizontal... something in between for low turns Would be really cool to have
  • nicman%s's Photo

    Massive updates to the objects.

@BelgianGuy, Sorry but I dont think I have the skill right now to pull something off like that.
