Does anyone know the name of this object? I have two of them in my objdata folder and I'm trying to free some space -

Don't you have Parkdat?
And if you're editing, then parkdat is quite a must too.
It allows you to identify and change scenery in a saved game.
Or maybe try datchecker. -

You're cleaning up your objdata folder file by file? Stop this madness! Make a new folder (I called it 'object archive' and move all custom scenery (you can easily identify them by sorting the files by date edited) to that folder. A clean sheet, more space than you can dream of. If your savegames are exported you can still open any park you like. If you're missing an object anyway, you can find it in your archive.
Two minutes work. -

^^ I've been doing that like a year now, no more fuss.
Always a clean back up folder. -

Yes I've heard of parkdat, but I've never used it. Do you have a link or something to the latest version I can download? You're cleaning up your objdata folder file by file? Stop this madness! I must have committed one of the seven deadly sins lol. I'm not sure I quite understand though. How does organizing all my objdat's my date edited tell me which one's are which? Indeed, with 5k scenery pieces, 98% of them I've never edited lol. Somewhat confused. -

You sort the objects by date last modified. The default objects that come with the game are easily distinguishable because the date is pretty much the same for all of them bar a few minutes. With the expansion packs installed, the most recent modified .dat is I think SPACRANG.dat or something like that. All objects modified AFTER that dat are custom, so it's no problem to move them to a new folder. -

Cool that does actually help. It helped me organize half of all my data's . However, I still have over 2000 to go through still lol -

With expansions all non custom are dated 2003 at the latest. Without expansions they all date 2002. -

Hey Thanks! That's exactly what I need. However, I think you may have sent me just the shortcut folder, there isn't actually anything in the file you sent me.With expansions all non custom are dated 2003 at the latest. Without expansions they all date 2002.
Excellent, that's very helpful. Yes I can see (having the expansion) that a different set of objects start at 2004. Thanks Louis -
