I for one miss K0NG around the community. Although he could be a bit harsh at times, he means well. He has been pretty insightful and helpful by conveying constructive criticism in the past so why is he under moderation? All of the sensitive sally's around here that take him so seriously need to chill out and quit bitching. This community has been a pretty free place until lately. I admire the admins but please do not continue these bans/mods on members who have been very enlightening and inspirational to the rest of us. Players like K0NG and Cena have been here for years and it seems you guys almost want them banished. They have created some of the best work the site has ever seen so why shut them out? Essentially I have two requests for the community. 1)Admins: please lift these mods and allow these people to post what they would like. With all of these regulations and moderations, this place will eventually turn into the TPR games forum... 2) All you little sensitive sally's out there please quit crying when somebody gives you advice, even if it is a bit blunt. All in all, we are here to help each other but if you don't put a valiant effort into your work I wouldn't get all butt hurt when someone speaks the truth.

I would be disappointed to see this topic get locked. While trying to free K0NG, I am really trying to ensure this place is as free as it can be. We all have a voice and it shouldn't be moderated if it is for the good of the community and the progression of this game.

Actually, good that he's under moderation. That'll give him some spare time to fucking finish something, Tsunami or whatever he's restarted this week. Vulture just showed that he could and has me wanting more.

I'll freely submit myself to moderation if it means that KONG stays on it. I think the community is far better off with both of us muted.

K0NG is an asset to the community and I really respect his work. I believe the admins know what they are doing so if something they deem unacceptable or offensive has happened, I'm fully behind them in terms of their reasoning. Posix and Liam have done their rounds and they know what they shouldn't put up with. We have to realise that we may like the guy and love his work but we may not know the whole story. Just because he makes us laugh and produces amazing parks, his flaws may arise when dealing with the people who keep this site going
for us.

I have only barely ever gotten the hate on K0NG. I don't think he needs moderation but some sort of drunk test before he can enter NE, that's when the madness starts to happen. I fully stand behind you Pacifi.


salsaontop, the admins have to approve his comments before they are published. That's what's being moderated.

I miss the brownness of his work too.

I think you're right pac, I mean cena got freaking banned for taking the down the dummy station tutorial in the h2h6 season because he found an error in it working on the pixar wich he didn't have to time to publish at that time, deadlines and such ya know, when he explained this to posix in a pm he simply recieved tl.dr, so I think that was uncalled for even if he somtimes went out on a limb verbally, I do agree kong and him sometimes had the urge to be blunt but they mostly meant it good unless they felt they needed to make some people idiotproof for their own sake perhaps...

I completely stand by what you say and I agree on the thing about the sensitive sally's being all too whiny and I personally think if you can't take direct comments and advice you shouldn't be part of NE in the first place.

As a journalist I think you can guess what I think about censorship of free speech. I hate it.

I know some of the details about what brought about the banning of Cena and censorship of K0NG and why each has a different punishment, but that's really a privet matter between the involved parties and I don't think I know the whole truth, so I will not get into any of that.

When I was an admin some members did act up and do things that today would bring about a ban. What I always did was modify the post (if needed) and contact the user. I would kindly explain what I had a problem with and let them know that if it happened again I would need to take action. I never had to ban anyone in over a year of running this site and I am quite proud of that.

I don't think NE's forum is the same anymore and I miss the old days of the freespeak/shitpile. Posix just is not socially gifted. I have had many chats with him that go pretty nice and then he says something I find insulting and I actually don't think he's aware of it. His motivation is fantastic and the site itself is better than ever (geewhzz is somewhat more to thank for that, but posix as done a good deal too). Just the guy did not win the old 'Asshole of the year' award 3x for his skill when it comes to dealing with people.

I am in favor of lifting the admin review from K0NG so he can post freely. Cena... well that's just a mess. I like the guy and talk to him on AIM often, but he really did cross the line. I hope that maybe sometime in the future he could comeback, but I won't hold my breath.

Unless it's a spambot or a member who does not play/view RCT and wants to start shit I don't think any bans should be needed here.

None of you know anything. Many of you have been with us on this site for years. You should know better nobody gets banned or muted here for nothing.

During this H2H, some seriously severe shit went down behind the scenes born from the illness in Cena's and K0NG's heads. Did this possibility ever cross your mind before opening a topic like this? You wouldn't just simply pm us to ask what the deal is if you wanted to play "voice of the people"?

What happened is nobody's fucking business but ours. If you want to believe that Cena and K0NG are not very well responsible for where they are, then that's your mistake.
