Frisbee Tutorial
By MikaRCT2
What you need:
8cars 1.3.2.0
Any coaster with steep track (e.g. the wooden coaster)
invisible support blocker (Optional but the easiest)
First lower the land (height in pic).1.png (87.94KB)
downloads: 21
Then build a coaster like this:2.png (118.37KB)
downloads: 28
Alt+Tab to 8cars and set the coaster's track type to "Crooked House"3.png (1.3MB)
downloads: 23
Go back to RCT2 and you'll see this:4.png (90.49KB)
downloads: 18
Now you have to make the entries invisible.
First build a Dummy Track under the entries like this:5.png (98.83KB)
downloads: 16
Then place an object (no MT object) under the Dummy Track:6.png (89.3KB)
downloads: 18
Now give the ground under the dummy track and object another color:7.png (92.33KB)
downloads: 21
Alt+Tab to 8cars and do this:8.png (1.49MB)
downloads: 379.png (1.32MB)
downloads: 67
Go back to RCT2. You'll see this:10.png (96.83KB)
downloads: 38
Go to the top of the raised land and place the Invisible Support Blocker one or two clearances UNDER the top:11.png (88.19KB)
downloads: 290
Alt+Tab to 8cars and do this:12.png (1.37MB)
downloads: 56
IF you go back to RCT2 now (not necessary), you'll see this:13.png (88.75KB)
downloads: 56
On 8cars, do this:14.png (1.31MB)
downloads: 64
Back in RCT2, you MUST see this, otherwise you have the wrong .dll's for 8cars.15.png (81.23KB)
downloads: 48
Then you'll have to change train type:16.png (1.31MB)
downloads: 23
Test the Frisbee, and you'll see this:17.png (95.29KB)
downloads: 19
Then you have to demolish the Dummy Track:18.png (91.73KB)
downloads: 47
Then you can theme the ride! Just remember that the entries are still physically there, you just can't see them. You have to use Zero Clearance to build on them because of that.19.png (97.32KB)
downloads: 57Done
Hope you like it and good luck!

What was the point of this? Invisible entrance huts already has a tutorial for it and I'm sure frisbee rides does as well. -

^What was the point in that comment? He's only trying to help people out.
Nice job Mika, clear instructions that would definitely help someone who hasn't done this before. -

Actually, that was exactly the point of this^What was the point in that comment? He's only trying to help people out.

I did this because RCTER2 asked me once in a PM. I made a tutorial, and he thought that it was very easy and helpful. That's why I posted this, and I'm sure that it will help some people. -

I sugest first connecthing the path to the entrance and exit. else it could bug a little bit at times.

^I know, Cena sent me that in a PM. I didn't put that in because I never had that problem. If you use zero clearance to build a path, it will not connect properly with the entries, and you have to build over that path with zero clearance off. Now people know
Thanks!
