Finally, one of the most anticipated park chains releases their first year's work. New Element Parks, the creative team officially representing this website, carries out a well-established chain that has previously released "Hidden Realm" and "IAAPA Convention", as well as the upcoming "Chateau Lake" & "Masters Isle" parks. Two of the premier moderators at NE join together, to make the chain's latest installment, and opening up with two incredible roller coasters.

This park was made by PyroPenguin & x-sector

NE's Palmetto Cove added 2 coasters this year.

    2.Heatwave---B&M Inverted Coaster---6 Inversions (Loop (2), Barrel Roll (2), Corkscrew (2)

This park started witih 50 points at the beginning of 2002.
-Steel Looping Coaster (1-3 Inversions) -10 Points
-Steel Looping Coaster (4-6 Inversions) -15 Points

    No bonus.
    Total deduction-25 Points
    Points left-25

This park was amazing, it is hard to pick between this and warner bros right now as my favorite park. Nice work guys.

Wow, very nice. I really like that draw bridge type thing. Very unique. As for my fav though, I'd have to pick Warner Bros becasue it has more of a "general" theme.

It's Great, but I thought PW was about realism...oh well, Hersheys' beat because were goin realistic, and everyone's gonna vote for the non realistic stuff.

If this competition was on building non-realistic, NE style parks, this park would have my vote, even over WBMW. Seeing as it's not, I'm probably not. I liked the Schwartzkopf, though.

The object of this was to match your company. Pyro & X both signed up for New Element parks before anyone did, so their job was to make an NE-style park. They still should have your vote.

How unfortunite. Two talented (if not all that original, or exciting) parkmakers, go and attempt to pull a veil over our eyes, and deem a fantasy park realistic, just to win in competition. In fact, it has happened twice! Wait, thrice. The Disney park wasn't all too realistic either.

As for the park itself, beyond all this, its "nice", but boring. And I doubt Pyro did anything at all, the entire thing is an Elrocko park, with Grinch landscaping, thus pointing to X-Sector.

When will you people learn originality? When will I?

Maybe Blitz-sama will be kind and violently slap some sense back in me... realism suxors!

Hopefully Micool is taking notes on all this, and will compleatly ignore realism for his section, so that we can win. Lets just hope...

Actualy, X did the coasters and the theming around them as well as the enterance and bridges. I did all the buildings besides the stations and the few buildings right around the coaster, then the observation tower and the motion simulator.

As for realism, I do partialy agree with Iris in the fact that the style we are supposed to live up to is in fact fantasy, but we are tryign to be somewhat realistic. What is it that everyone considers realism? Personaly, I have no interest in buidling a park with next to no scenery, square buildings with flat roofs, blank land under coasters, and overal rather boring to look at. So what do you expect if the goal is to create a realistic park that emphasises theming and architecture as NE does?

You're taking my comment far too literally. Essentially the park seemed to be a rip-off of the same people X-Sector rips-off, who in turn rip-off other people, who in turn rip-off other people, who in turn rip-off you, while you in turn rip-off X-Sector. Or something.

    That was my point.

What I was expecting was simple, "A realist interpritation of the stereotypical NE style." I truly was expecting to find your average, normal, even dull New Element park, however I was also expecting it to be realistic. As for what I dub realism, it isn't what mrIce or NO, does. Not just plain buildings, flat roofs, blank land under coasters, etc, but rather what NeVis did on his Kraken rec. That was the first, and last, truly realistic work in RCT, ever.

But Sea World (sadly) is being done in the NO/mrIce style, just for, um, I don't know... boredom? Probably.

    Exactly.

cheers for all the comments (chauncey I don't care about your comments really as you don't like any of my parks so iam not going to just try and please you by making something different)

Chauncey You Keep going on about how I'm ripping off Grinch's park Tropico cove but I told you Grinch created a style (well actually picked the right trees and bushes etc) that i have allways wanted to do for such a long time but never could do myself (but then again y am I explain myself to you as you probably won't believe me)

Pyro did alot so I don't know why you can go around saying it looks like I did it all when you don't even no who worked on what, Also Pyro will be doing alot more than me for month 2.

Also everyones saying its not a realistic park. So Alton towers are aloud to theme there coaster really good eg. Nemesis but when we do it its not realistic at all its called a fantasy park. Ne is the company were doing so we are meant to be doing parks that NE is making so thats what we are doing aswell.

X-Sector, have you even read my second post? If so, you probably compleatly misunderstood it, or you wouldn't have written your post.

I'll leave my comments at that.
  • x-sector%s's Photo
Ok Chauncey sorry I misunderstood it. I just went through it again.

I loved the inverted coaster layout - it was focused after that first underground bit. Also had nice colours. The steel twister had a very slow first loop, but looked pretty. I actually like this style a lot. It's not quite tropico IMO. It's kind of tropico vs classic or something like that. Meh. It's good. yes.

Well this park is in the top three in parkwars...its very nice and has a great deal of detail...maybe getting my vote for something...nywayz

    cant wait til next year

Just about the ONLY thing I didn't like about the park (hated would best describe it) is how you have the invert train facing backwards in the extra train place. :@ I just get easily annoyed. :) Other than that, great park!
